Former Washington running back Cam Davis transferred to Minnesota in the winter transfer portal cycle (2025). He has one year of eligibility remaining and will play for the Gophers this Fall. At Big Ten Media Days, Minnesota head coach PJ Fleck delivered high praise to his new running back, documenting his character and work ethic. Fleck announced Cam Davis was voted a team captain.
