I complexed him Aphrodite Hills Resort is preparing to welcome 28 golf teams from across Europe to Cyprus for four days of competition, camaraderie and spectacular golf at the prestigious Aphrodite Hills Team Cup.
Taking place from September 24 to 28 and coinciding with the 2025 Ryder Cup in New York, this year’s event offers participants the opportunity to enjoy their own thrilling team experience in one of the continent’s most prestigious sporting destinations, under the Mediterranean sun, while Europe’s best players compete across the Atlantic.
The main event will feature 21 four-player teams, open to both professional and amateur male golfers, while a three-day Seniors tournament will feature seven teams of players aged 55 and over. A two-day Ladies Doubles Division will complement the competition for female players.
Throughout the week, a variety of competitions (AM/AM, fourball betterball, greensomes, and individual Stableford) will challenge golfers. The winning team will be crowned the Aphrodite Hills Team Cup champion, with a complimentary invitation to the following edition. A Silver Division Trophy will also be awarded to the winners of the over-55 category.
Outside of competitions, players and guests will enjoy an opening reception, awards gala dinners, practice areas each morning, giveaways and exclusive access to the renowned 18-hole championship course designed by Cabell B.Robinson – title PGA National Cyprus – including a training session on September 24.
To mark one of the highlights of its calendar, the Aphrodite Hills Resort has set up a special stay & golf offer available for the duration of the event. Rental apartments will be available from 153 € per night, offering exceptional value for money for any stay of four nights or more during the tournament.

This year’s tournament comes on the heels of the launch of a multi-million dollar investment program designed to strengthen the resort’s position as one of Europe’s top sporting destinations.
Participants will be able to discover a new Starter Hut and cafe world-class near the first tee, as well as the Cyprus’s first ever Trackman Range, featuring state-of-the-art ball tracking technology.
A complete renovation of all the course’s bunkers is also underway, divided into four phases, to ensure conditions worthy of the biggest championships for decades to come.
The investments also concern the entire resort: a new Sports Hub will open in spring 2026 in the heart of the racket sports area, with a high-end boutique and a major redevelopment of the changing rooms.
