Honestly it took me long enough to make it to the green anyway so I had ample chance to notice the wasp nest lol

Looks like they haven’t changed pin location for a few days.

Pffft, “flag belongs in the hole so I’m taking its soul!!!!”

  4. Damn, this makes me don’t wanna putt anything in even more.

Putting the flag back in the cup should be optional anyway.

Goaltending. How am I supposed to hole out with the flag like that?

Golf courses are already full of WASPs as it is

Kill that thing ASAP, you have a round to wrap up.

  9. How can it possibly have time to build a nest?

I’m not necessarily proud of this, but back in high school practice, we would place certain pins firmly in the fringe on the opposite side of the green for our buddies behind us. Lots of loud swearing ensued.

  11. There in the Chicagoland but haven’t seen them lately

Hole location looks at least 26 years old

When I used to change cups I’d run into these cicada killers a lot. They’d do this pretty much overnight. Definitely will give you a good scare when you hear them start buzzin

So, as a Texan born and raised I had never seen one of these in the north east until two weeks ago when one made a home in my yard. They are HUGE! Seem docile enough around me a few feet away, and then the home mound is near the faucet and they do not bother me. So, I went from “holy shit murder hornet” to “wtf is this beast I’ve never seen” and now see them everywhere!

Unrelated but reminds me of something me and my friends did in Middle School.

We saw the jackass thing with the air horns so we all dared one of my buddies to take a shit in the hole and stick put the flag back during a break in play.

Somehow the dude actually could shit on command so we he did his thing and we all hid in the bushes until someone came.

Eventually some old dude and his wife drove up and got to the green. The guy pulled out the flag when his wife went to putt and saw what flopped out, dude absolutely lost it. We booked it after he heard us laughing our asses off while he motherfucked us the whole way back.

Yall might hate that but that’s a good memory for me.

Anyways that sucks about the wasp nest.

Gentlemen only ladies forbidden. A flag stick is more than enough to protect the edict of the game newbies
