I Bought A “1+ Iron” From Temu – It’s A TOTAL GAME CHANGER!?

  1. CHANGE THE SHAFT & put it up against the 2 iron P-UDI at 17 degrees, i use a ventus blue TR HB 6-R shaft & it keeps me in play. I slice the driver but this club has been a god send, I'm hitting it straight down the middle around 225 yards average, my 7 wood yardage is around 230 so it gives me 2 options in my bag for a low shot down the fairway & a high shot onto a green. I understand its not a cheap club but its one of the best buys I've ever made to keep me on the fairway & has helped to reduce my scores.

  2. The Temu 7wood is pretty decent, also offset but not madly offset. Cost me £47,it has turned out a good risk

  3. I've been using a Callaway Big Bertha 1 iron (16 degrees) for the best part of 20 years. I have recently purchased a Sub70 15 degree 2 iron with a bulge and roll face. Brilliant for links courses.

  4. Its a 1 iron my guy. Its a driving iron, 99.9999% of golfers can't hit that off the ground. Its literally meant to hit from the tee

  5. Hey James! You really should pair that 1 iron with an Hzrdus smoke red graphite shaft 🤔 pretty sure it would work for launch and it’s pretty cheap to buy usually! Thanks for your content 👊🏻 always my go to!! The first one to pop up every day and the first I watch everyday when I get home!! Cheers mate! 💪🏻👊🏻

  6. Hi James have you heard of a 357 fairway hybrid for seniors from the USA they are selling them just now for a 199 USA dollars down from 399 USA dollar please test

  7. Meh use a 5 wood, just sayin'. Think there's plenty of better options with better interaction on both tee and turf. Thanks for the vids.

  8. yes new shaft please. I have a TP UDI 1 iron 16* with a C-taper. It is REALLY forgiving. I use it when my driver is in time out

  9. I used to play a 1 iron – off a tee or as a low punch shot. Still have it but can't hit it to save myself now I'm 30 years weaker! Good to see someone hitting one though.

  10. A bit of golf lore… back in Jack Nicklaus' day he would get loft off a 1 iron (no perimeter weighting) and float it on the green on par 5s. Tom Weiskopf said that was Jack's skill set where he could putt for eagles. Others would try but only drive the iron shot to the rough in the back of the green trying to hit a dodgy shot close enough to try to make birdie. Amazing stuff. John Daley was good at it as well. Enjoyed this immensely!

  11. I recently removed my 3 wood from the bag and added with my Ping 1 & 2 irons. My dispersion has reduced significantly! I now carry a driver, a 5 wood, and a full set of irons (1 – SW), plus obviously my putter, and it works for me!! In the wind it's awesome using the 1 iron! Great video, thank you!

  12. When I played regularly I always carried a Ping black spot 1 iron and black spot 2 iron. 1iron off the tee and 2 iron off the fairway. In the end I was able to hit the 1 iron off the fairway.

  13. I'd love to see it with a graphite shift. I have Lynx stinger 2 iron with a steel shaft that I bought from ebay. I'm going to have it restarted as it feels too heavy
