  1. If you were using his clubs it really negatively impacted your score. They are way too long and heavy for you.

  2. Sometimes in golf when you change something you start of worse before you get better

  3. Why is nobody talking about how the rythim of the song matches the strokes at 23:22 ??? Yo that is so good production. Heck yeah!!

  4. i was like what this golf stuff and then i went down to my local golf club nearby and think where was this sport all my life. and now i am so into golf.

  5. great job. love that you got out there out of your comfort zone! just remember your fundamentals and you will continue to improve! i feel like your nerves got in the way of your fundamentals on the last 9. just keep having fun though. awesome video

  6. I loved this video! I started golfing a month ago and I feel all the feels. It can be fun and terribly disappointing. Your instructor was fantastic! You were hitting so good even your first lesson!

  7. WOO GOLF!

my brother and SIL recently started golfing, and a friend of mine bought me a set of clubs for my birthday 3 days ago…. SO, I guess I'll also be starting my golf journey.

thanks google for listening to me constantly and recommending this video 😂

  8. @4:00 honestly you would be surprised how well those shots you had would translate on a course. Even those that hardly air up at all and mostly roll will go a decent distance.

  9. I stumbled upon this video because I too am a beginner golfer and I absolutely love how wholesome this is. Relatable.

  10. You’re on opposite sides of the world, so probably unrealistic. But I think you and Iona Stephen would make an awesome golf collab video.

  11. What an amazing video, it really felt like i was on the journey with you. I just recently decided to really give golf a try and you’ve inspired me to try my best. It’s hard to keep a positive attitude at times but you did great! I know you’ll break 60 soon, keep it up!

  12. You remind me of my best friend and yes your video made me leave feeling better! Nice! you are a beautiful soul! Have fun golfing!

  13. I'm getting back into golf, or rather "into golf properly for the first time", so I've watched DOZENS of videos from technique over reviews and so on…
This is the most entertaining video of ALL of those!

  14. WOO GOLF!! Also, perfect timing for your vid to pop up on my algo haha! I've been getting back into golf recently and somehow 'Xanax arms, head still' from Happy Gilmore 2 has become my mantra 🤪😂

  15. Teeing up that first ball so high with an iron in hand… I am seated for the rest of this video.

  16. Oh this is great! Thank you for this. I’m 54 and really want to learn to play golf after I went to Top Golf and hit some balls with my husband last year. Thought it looked boring, but I loved it. Already have a set of clubs and now I just need to learn so I can get off on the right foot! You gave me confidence to get out there and try when it looks like all the other adults already know what they’re doing! 🎉❤

  17. Hats off to you for just diving into it, I’ve been away from golf for just over 20 years I’ve found out today after finding the last score card I had! So went down the driving range to rectify that and start on my own journey back onto the course. I’m strangely very nervous about getting really good again though before even looking at booking a round 🙈 so it’s great to see you just jumped head first into it, and I hope you grow to love the game. For me back then it was just way too expensive and I didn’t like how serious it got. So now just need to learn to play for fun 👍

  18. Thoroughly enjoyed watching your 30 day journey. I picked clubs up for the first time 3 years ago at the age of 54. I was petrified when I took to my first 9 holes. A cheap bag of clubs, no trolly, no golf shoes, no idea tbh! But I shot a 78. I knew it wasn’t great but 3 years later I shoot same 9 holes for about 47. It’s a great game and each club plays different. The game changer for me was simply to use a 6 iron off the tee. As soon as I started to do this my scores came down. I love the game. I just play the hole and worry about the score at the end.
Of the round. Still building the courage to do 18! Great video. Loved it.

  19. 45 balls 9$ sheeeeeeeeesh ! I scream when it's more than 4€ in France… thought it was cheaper in USA
Otherwise, Kelli is so lovely, it's exactly the good pedagogy many people need at the beginning. And you're doing very well, keep going on, it's frustrating at the beginning cause you fall in every trap but if you stay on the fairway, you'll have very good moments 🙂 Thanks for the video !

  20. My husband .. been golfing since the age of 11 yrs. and with me in my 2nd year of golf (outside of 2-3 x/year prior – like Father's Day … he shared his thoughts about your videos> He loves them <3. You are Canadian, fun, self-effacing and human like the rest of us. You really did improve by the end of the month! And I see myself improving too .. some good days and some that are a b****. But I did get 3 pars last year on 18 holes, and my first birdie ever on a par 4 hole this year – EPIC! And so while this sport is aggravating at time, it's also so fun! Thank you for making me feel normal! ;-).
