Each time he plays, security and travel add to the cost, like flying on Air Force One, moving his motorcade, police boats, Coast Guard vessels, and bomb-sniffing dogs. Secret Service spends over $600000 on carts and portable toilets at Donald Trump’s club
It’s not only the golf trips themselves that cost big money. The Secret Service has signed contracts to rent golf carts and portable toilets for use at Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. The deals were made on June 3, 2025.They will pay up to $550,930 for golf cart rentals through June 2, 2026.
They will pay up to $80,385 for portable restrooms through May 31, 2026. There’s an option to renew for three more years, potentially bringing the cost up to $333,801.In simple words, taxpayers will pay more than $600,000 to move Secret Service agents around the golf course and give them extra bathrooms.The Secret Service explained, “The golf carts help agents move around the club. The extra restrooms help when the club’s own restrooms are closed or too few for everyone onsite.”
