Tiger Woods made headlines on Wednesday after PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolapp named him chair of a nine-member Future Competition Committee to redesign the tour’s competitive model.
The panel, six players and three business executives, including Boston Red Sox owner John Henry and baseball executive Theo Epstein, will pursue “significant change” to improve parity, meritocracy and fan engagement.
Woods said he felt honored after the decision and said it would shape the next era of golf. But on Thursday, Woods made another personal announcement.
Woods announced he will be partnering with Texas-based company Insperity, which provides human resources and administrative services to small and medium-sized businesses.
“We’re thrilled to officially welcome — @tigerwoods — our newest Brand Ambassador to the Insperity family! Together, we’re teeing up a new chapter, one that celebrates the power of partnership and purpose,” the brand and Woods posted together on Instagram.
