MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho Men’s golf head coach David Nuhn announced the 2025-26 schedule, Wednesday.
The schedule includes the continued hosting of the Bandon Dunes Championship, the 17th annual event at Bandon Dunes, the world’s highest rated golf resort located on the idyllic Southern Oregon coast.
The Vandals will also play the third annual Battle for Idaho, a dual against Boise State, in April at a course to be determined in the Boise area.
Idaho opens the season with four fall tournaments beginning with the Palouse Collegiate at Palouse Ridge Golf Course in Pullman on Sept. 9-10. The Vandals then travel to play the Air Force Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Sept. 20-22.
Idaho plays at the SIUE Dolenc Invite at the Gateway National Links in Madison, Illinois, just across the river from downtown St. Louis.
The Vandals close out the fall at the Oregon State Invitational at the Illahe Hills Country Club in Salem Oregon on Oct. 14-15.
After the winter break, Idaho opens the spring at the Loyola Intercollegiate on Feb. 15-17 at Wigwam Golf Club, the course that will host the 2026 Big Sky Championship.
Idaho next travels to the Watney Invitational at San Joaquin Country Club in Fresno, California, on March 2-3.
The Vandals return as the host school for the Bandon Dunes Championship. This year’s event will take place on the Pacific Dunes Course, the second-ranked public golf course in the country, trailing only legendary Pebble Beach. The Tom Doak designed course brings out the best of the Pacific coastline with a challenging course.
The 2026 tournament is the 17th since it started in 2010 and the seventh hosted by the University of Idaho.
Idaho travels back to Oregon on March 23-24 to play in the Oregon Duck Invitational at the Eugene Country Club before playing at the Redhawk Invitational at US Open course Chambers Bay in University Place, Washington.
The Vandals will meet Boise State in the third annual Battle for Idaho dual on April 20-21 at a course to be determined. The tournament will be the last of the regular season for Idaho.
After a year playing in the Big West Conference, the Vandals return to the Big Sky Conference and will play at Wigwam Golf Club at Litchfield Park, Arizona on April 27-29 for a chance to earn a spot in a NCAA Championship Regional.
Six players off of last season’s squad return for the Vandals, including three year starters Joe Sykes and Sam Johnson and two year starter Dalton Dean who enter their senior year for the Vandals. The team begins practice next week with the start of the fall semester.
