The PGA Tour’s biggest stars head to East Lake for the Tour Championship.
Scottie Scheffler is the overwhelming betting favourite to become the first golfer to defend his FedEx Cup title.
The 29-year-old American sealed his first FedEx Cup crown 12 months ago and is in red-hot form having won last week’s BMW Championship in Maryland.
There’s a few changes to the Tour Championship this year, with no starting strokes the biggest change.
Since 2019, the leading player in the FedEx Cup started at 10-under and the others staggered behind based on standings.

Now, all 30 players in the field will begin on level par.
Some critics still don’t like the change, though, as the winner of the Tour Championship will be crowned the FedEx Cup champion.
At this point, wouldn’t we all agree the aforementioned Scheffler and Rory McIlroy are the only two candidates worthy of the title?
There’s also some changes to the purse – the 2025 edition of the Tour Championship has a total purse of $40m, with the winner receiving $10m.
The purse used to be $25m, but the PGA Tour spread out some of the cash earlier in the season.

Scheffler has already received a whopping $18m bonus due to his unassaible position at the top of the standings.
GolfMagic has listed the payout infromation below. And don’t forget to check back in on Sunday evening to see how much they all won.
