English golfer Charley Hull is on the mend and training in a medical boot after she tripped and fell over a curb in the Centurion Club parking lot during the PIF London Championship earlier this month.
Hull, who used to be seen smoking cigarettes on the course before quitting earlier this year as part of a bet, shared a snapshot of herself in the gym on Tuesday amid her recovery.
“Training in a moon boot,” Hull, 29, wrote.

The world No. 10 — who was forced to withdraw from the Centurion Club tournament from Aug. 8-10 — recalled hearing her ankle pop, adding that she “nearly fainted” when she fell to the ground and was yelling for help to her boyfriend.
“Coming out of the locker room, I had a skip in my step because I love practicing,” Hull explained on social media at the time. “But then I fell over a curb in the car park and was lying on the floor shouting for my boyfriend to come get me.

“The security guard was watching me, and I heard my ankle pop. I thought I broke it. Someone picked me up and put me in the car. I went down so quickly, I nearly fainted. I was not sure if I was overreacting. I started moving my ankle and it’s nowhere near as bad as I thought. I will get an MRI today.”
Hull, who starred in “Happy Gilmore 2,” withdrew from the event after she got an MRI.

“I’m devastated not to be competing in front of a home crowd,” she said at the time. “However, I’m really looking forward to supporting the event and spending time with fans this week.”
The injury came a few weeks after Hull withdrew from the Amundi Evian Championship in France after collapsing in the first round due to a virus, and was stretchered off in July.
After that, Hull came close to her first major title at the 2025 AIG Women’s Open, finishing second to Miyu Yamashita after a thrilling final round at Royal Porthcawl.
