Hey guys, welcome back to Modern Golf. I hope you’re having a great day and even better week. Today we’re talking about the best deals for August. So, for some of you, this may be the last time you watch us, maybe till spring. Uh, if you’re new here, please certainly like and subscribe. Uh, my name is Jeff. We run Modern Golf, where we do reviews on golf tech and golf products, from shoes to apparel to golf bags to equipment to balls and everything in between. This is one of our favorite series. This is the best deals of the month. So, if you are a penny pincher or on a really serious budget, this is the video you want to watch every month. We find the best deals going, the best values going for that particular month. Um, what I always tell everybody is I’m going to preface this and tell you, don’t yell at me if the stuff sells out. Uh, last month we had a lot of Peter Mar G4. It sold out really quick. I got a lot of hate mail. Oh, you didn’t tell. I don’t know when the sales begin. I don’t know when they end. I’m just doing research uh for the masses, but wanted to give you guys some great details of some great deals for the month of August. So, let’s get started. First one, uh the people at Pinolf, they have this buy one get one free. You buy a caddy, you get a speaker. You buy a rangefinder, you get a speaker. They have a very good deal going. I did confirm with their marketing team, this deal will go till the end of August. So, by the time this video is out, you probably have two two and a half weeks to watch this. So, if you’re looking for a Pinolf product or products, this is the time. I like what Pinolf is doing. Uh we’ve tested a lot of the products, the Prism rangefinder, um the Caddy, which we adore, and we’re doing some other things down the road with these guys as well. Uh but really have liked every product um that they’ve put out. And again, I don’t there’s no affiliate code, so I don’t get commission. Uh if I didn’t like the product, I tell you I don’t like it. Um, but really so buy one basically kind of get one free for a number of their products for August. My dear friends in the Northeast, Fjoy, uh, if you haven’t been to Fjoyy’s site, uh, in a while, they have a lot of stuff. Uh, the US Open, uh, the British Open, the PGHIP, those t-shirts, apparel, hoodies are now between 50 and 70% off. So, if you’re looking for yourself or looking for a gift and you are a huge fan of Fjoy, which I am, as you guys know, check out Fjoyy’s website and again, they have some killer deals going on. And then I didn’t get into all their shoes, but they have some really good deals going on with their shoes. But for apparel apparel purposes, check out footjoy.com and really their clearance sale. All right, let’s get into Puma. Two shoes for Puma, one for men, one for women’s. I’m going to put pictures up. The first one for men’s is the Alphacat Nitro. Uh this this shoe normally retails for 160 160. They have it for 45 bucks. Not a bad deal. Uh and they did have a number of colors and sizes. So this isn’t like they had a size 14 or six. This is they had a variety of sizes and widths and colors and all that stuff. You should be good for the women. Fascinate I think is the name of it. Yeah, Fascinate. This shoe was hundred and some dollars. uh this particular and I’ll put all the stuff in our in the in the bio here in the description. $29.99. So, if you’re a woman looking for shoes and you don’t want to spend a ton, uh again, if you’re a person who only plays maybe outings once or twice a year or doesn’t want to break the budget on a $300 pair of G4 shoes, I understand. Uh Puma has some great deals and again, we’ll put all the links in the description, but $29.99 for a pair of shoes. Pretty good deal. True Linkswear. Ah, I love my True Linkwear shoes. Uh love their apparel. maybe a little bit more. But they have uh their slides. I think they call them the FS slides. I did make a note. They’re called the FS slide. Normally $99. Uh they’re $49. I’m a big fan uh of Birkenstock Boston’s. You know, a clog. I don’t want to see people’s nasty feet. No offense. You know, women, if you want to paint your nails and do all that’s fine. I don’t want to see men’s nasty feet. This is a great option. Uh again, a number of colors. I just ordered them because that’s how I knew about this deal. um $49.99. Uh they’re normally 100 bucks a pair. I bought navy and black. They have cream and green and navy and different blues and all kinds of stuff. But 50% off. True links doesn’t do a ton of those deals. But these slides are fantastic. I just got mine yesterday. You will love them. I love them. Uh if I would say if you’re in between sizes, uh let’s say you’re nine and a half, go up a size to a 10. It’s what I did. They fit great uh with or without socks. I love them. It’s a no-brainer. I was going to order a pair of black Birkenstock Boston’s. I decided to save myself about 70 bucks and order two pair of these. Again, one navy, one black. Anyway, 50 bucks a pair. It’s a screaming deal. I don’t know how long they’re going to have it. Um but again, true links. Sunday Golf. Uh my friends at Sunday golf 23% off. They This is their birthday bundles uh from a I’m not I’m just gonna put pictures up because they they have 88 different bundles and with 45 different bags and towels and hats and but they’ve got this birthday bundle. It’s their 5year anniversary. Congrats to you guys. It’s fantastic. I love how they’re shaking up this industry. But up to 23% off these bundles. So if you get like a a LMA bag and a towel and a hat, uh 23% off. And they also do some great deals. Let’s get into golf clubs because that’s what most of us are interested in. All right, three deals that I absolutely loved. Mazuno S23 copper wedge. Yes, it’s from 2023. Who cares? It’s still a great wedge. $69 for a wedge and phenomenal wedge. If I’m a Mizuno fan, I love these. Mazuno CLK hybrid, $99. Again, there’s some additional discounts on top of that. Uh the Ping irons, the i525. This is why I was saying earlier, if you didn’t watch the video earlier, we did one about or you’ll maybe see down the road about things I’m staring at and I’m stalking. Uh the i530 are the irons I am in love with. I’m I’m infatuated. them. Uh, again, you can get these five through gap wedge or four through pitching wedge. Me personally, I’m a five through gap wedge guy. I’d rather pay the hybrid. Um, $740 for the set. It’s a bargain. I What I And people said, “Hey, you’re that’s a ripoff.” Go on eBay and see what these irons sell for. It’s This is not 1995 anymore. This stuff is buoo bucks. So, anyway, the Ping i525 forged irons under 750 bucks. Here are some other golf clubs. The Big Bertha Hybrid under 70 bucks, $69.99. It’s a bargain. Um, what else do we have? Provise balls. They have these black dots. Uh, it’s for training and practicing and picking up on screens. $29 a dozen. It’s the only thing that’s different. You could play these. They’re not illegal. Just has a black dot for cameras and that kind of stuff. But great deal for the Prov1s. Under Arour 3.0 playoff quarterzip. I have the same things in navy and and black. They have it in the camo pattern. I’ll put a pictures up of it here. 33 bucks. Uh a bargain. I paid more than 33 bucks for mine last year. Uh I think I paid 80 for mine. Lighter weight, very good fitting. I I’m a big fan of Under Armour if you haven’t gathered. I just like Under Armour. Some of their logos placements I think can be updated, but like those uh Nike Air Pegasus golf shoes. Uh, you can get these on Nike currently as of today for 72 bucks. Again, I don’t know when pricing will change as they had a couple colorways at this price. They had a lot of sizing on that as well. Uh, before we wrap up, Adidas SG24, one of our favorite shoes from last year. Again, their soft spike. They also have a Boa one. The Boa is about $10 more. I think it’s $59. And you can get um the lace up version, which we love this shoe. Very comfortable shoe. Again, if you’re not a golfer who needs um super spikes, you’re a casual golfer, maybe you play a few times a year, or you just want a more comfortable shoe, the SG24 and the leather material, we love, absolutely love this shoe. It’s very comfortable. Uh my guy who you guys see test every once in a while, Greg, he plays had been playing a mesh version. Uh upgraded to a couple other different shoes recently, but absolutely loves that shoe. Very comfortable shoe. The only difference is I would say the only thing I don’t love uh they have a lifespan. They’re soft spikes, so at some point you’ll have to replace these. Um, and again, so those are the deals we have for August. Um, and again, if anything pops up between now and when this video comes out, we’ll update it obviously. Um, but that’s all we know of. Now, again, I highly recommend uh either bookmarking this or bookmarking our link tree or certainly subscribe as we do these videos once a month.
