TaShira was relocating to Tampa and Erik residing in North Carolina. They developed a friendship through twitter, phone calls, text messages, and FaceTime sessions. In 2016 Erik told her that he would marry her, but TaShira didn’t believe it. In May of 2018 Erik proposed to TaShira at a beautiful restaurant overlooking the New York City skyline. Erik then relocated from North Carolina to Tampa and they were married at IMG Academy in May of 2019.
