Tried Playing the 2025 Ledgestone Open… But Ran Into THIS
Welcome back to Real Disc Golf Simulation Special Weekend Edition. Tech Disc rolled out the 2025 Ledgestone Open Challenge. It’s a fourhole challenge. It’s on their website under Stroke Play. It’s an awesome challenge. Uh lots of people are playing it. There’s daily leaderboards and then an overall leaderboard. Right now, the the leader is at negative4 down. We should be downstairs in the simulator playing it right now. Unfortunately, every time we go to play it, we see that the simulation ends up looking like this. So, uh, as the disc leaves my hand, you see that we’re getting a lot of glitching and it’s sort of stuttering. Uh, it’s not really working very well. We mentioned in one of the previous videos that Tech Disk had rolled out some updates to the graphics for the game and unfortunately my computer just isn’t capable of running the simulation anymore and definitely not capable of running it and recording. So, looks like we’re going to have to upgrade if we want to keep running the simulation. Uh, we’re going to have to spend some money and get sort of a gaming computer, which I really don’t want to do. But, I guess if we want to keep doing this, we’re going to have to. Um, I’m definitely still going to have videos. We have lots of stuff out in the field and at the course that we’ve been trying out that we’ve been adding data from the tech disc. Uh, but actually simulation videos aren’t going to work out great right now. I hope all of you guys are really having a good time playing that Ledgestone open challenge. But for me, uh, not going to be doing it until we can upgrade that computer. So again, thanks for watching, subscribing. We’ll keep videos coming out for
The 2025 Discraft Ledgestone Open Stroke Play Challenge is here! I was ready to jump in on TechDisc’s new simulator update, but things didn’t go quite as planned… Let’s just say my computer wasn’t cooperating.
In order to get back into simulator challenges like these in the future (which I hear Techdisc will be doing more of these for PDGA Major Events this year) I’ll need to upgrade to a gaming computer. If you’re playing the 2025 Ledgestone Open Live Coverage this week (Aug 13–17), drop your scores in the comments — I’d love to see how you’re doing!
