Akie Iwai wins the Portland Classic thanks to a magnificent week. The Japanese player won with a total score of -24, concluding her week with a final round of 66. Behind her, American Gurleen Kaur finished second at -20, while Chisato Iwai and Linn Grant shared third place at -19. Céline Boutier finished 16th at -13. Perrine Delacour finished 23rd at -10. Roussin Bouchard and Cernousek finished 49th and 54th, respectively.

On the Portland course, Akie Iwai remained consistent throughout the week with cards of 67, 67, 64 and 66. This success confirms her place as one of the many players to watch on the LPGA Tour.

American Gurleen Kaur finished second at -20, buoyed by two solid first rounds of 65 and 68. Despite a slightly more difficult third round concluded in 70, she finished her tournament with a 65 which saw her finish in a very good 2nd place.
Behind, Chisato Iwai and Linn Grant share third place at -19. The Japanese took advantage of the weekend to climb the rankings by signing a card of 66 and a 64. While the Swede hangs on with a very good last round of 67 after her best card of the week made this Saturday of 65. The Australian Grace Kim completes the top 5 with -18.

The French team’s results are rather positive. All four French players present at the tournament made the cut. The best representative was Céline Boutier, who finished in 16th place at -13. Perrine Delacour finished in 23rd place at -10, with a final day of par (72). Roussin Bouchard finished in 49th place at -5 total. A rather difficult tournament for Cernousek, who had started the tournament with an opening card of -8. Unfortunately, she finished in 4th place at -54 total.
