A golf course is making headlines for its astounding price to play a couple of rounds by yourself.

The price of golf continues to go up and up. An 18-hole round at your local, public course can easily cost more than $100 these days, especially if you’re riding in a cart and not walking. Golf has surged in popularity since the COVID-19 pandemic, as for a while, it was one of the few safe things to do outside. But one course is going viral for its crazy-high cost, as it legitimately costs $160,000 to play a round by yourself.

That $160,000 price is real, though other details are understandably needed. Thankfully, we have them for you.

Ardfin golf estate, a Top 100 course located in Scotland, is going viral for its new price: $160,000. That’s right, to play the course by yourself, it’ll cost you close to $200,000.

That’s because there’s now a mandatory two-night stay on the property, forcing you to rent out all 18 rooms.

“Ardfin golf estate, a Top 100 course, is now $80,000 per night mandatory 2 night stay with golf. 18 rooms, 18 beds. So if you want to play it alone? $160k,” Rick Golfs shared.

“And food not included.”

Golf sickos are debating if it would be worth it

Some fans are trying to think of how they could make the $160,000 price point work for them and their golf buddies.

“Two night stay, but how many rounds? If you could play each day plus a third time on your checkout date, with 36 dudes sharing the 18 rooms/beds that might be worth,” one fan wrote.

“I’ve played it …. It’s amazing and totally worth every penny.!! Put it on your bucket list.!!” one fan added.

“Golf is fun, don’t get me wrong it’s a blast, but at Porsche prices, I’m taking the Porsche,” one fan added.

“I could buy my local muni and have it all to myself for that price,” one fan added.
