So, any of you guys ever umpire when you were younger? Uh-oh. That ball is deep. Proar brought it back. [Music] [Applause] That was super human. Watch how high he gets up over the wall. And not just up but deep for Jurgen Profar. And there is that milliondoll smile after the fact. He timed it perfectly and takes one away. Waldro can’t believe it. See Ramirez’s numbers there in the month of August. Hitting 258 two homers, six RBI’s, three-run score. One for 10 in this series after his line out to third in the first. There’s a fly ball in the air. This is clobbered deep to left field. Proofar’s back at the wall and he made the catch. Wow. What robbery by Juriken Proar. He was full extension over that low wall by the Marlins bullpen. Watch that catch. He times it perfectly. Half his body is over that wall. It’s one of the best catches you’ll ever see right there. And Ramirez couldn’t believe it.

  1. Best catch: Profar
    Best throw: Acuna
With Michael Harris in centerfield, this Braves outfield crew is a highlight waiting to happen.

  2. JP played for my local Hickory Crawdads (A ball, So.Atl. Lg) several years ago. He was a special talent.

  3. How ironic it is that Profar is now considered a superb defender. Only less than a week ago, he came charging in for a line drive only to see it sail over his head for a triple. That gaffe later cost the Braves a run and the game. Truth is, Profar is a better infielder. Yet he has the talent to play all over the field. Some days are better than others for this guy.

  4. What are the chances he pees hot, again? First class loser. Checkout what he did when it counted last October. Chokey McChoke.

  5. I was watching this game on MLB Network (not a fan of either team but I wanted to see a historic event) and this catch made my jaw drop.

  6. I'd love to see one of these catches with the outfielder pretending that he did not catch it. Only to show the ball in his glove seconds later.
