Now, this just a short while ago. Michael Lindberg down the hill at the short par three second, but it’s caused a lot of problems. Uh, but certainly not. Oh, it can’t be. Oh, what a moment for Lindberg. That was spinning hard as well. I tell you what, it went rattled in. Here’s Ben Schmidt with a an outside chance at 16. You’d be happy with two putts. Get the pace right. Get the pace right. I’ll go in anyway. My goodness me. What a day Ben Schmidt is having. And it’s to Raasmus we go. And the par putt at the third. Right edge. Right edge. Oh, that is a horrible bogey. What a mess that is. Back to 11 under. So this is Alfredo Garia Heredia to get to minus seven and does. And he does. What a putt. Nice birdie. This would be a huge par if he could make it. And he is a very very good putter. This would feel like the great escape. And he has. Wow. Here’s Alfredo Garcia Herrera at the shortish par for eighth. Well, he needs a really special week. He’s way down in the rankings. Garcia Heredia at 178 this week. They absolutely love it. We’ve also said we’re coming back with our partners to enjoy Copenh. What a shot from Mark Pen. There we go. That’s more like it. More what we expected from these two. Beautifully held. Well, we have a tie for the lead all of a sudden. That was a great two. Possibilities there. This is Ben Schmidt coming down the last. I’m assuming this is his third. Yes, it is. Oh, super bandis. What a great Saturday for the Englishman. Brown of 64 has a share of the course record, but most important, he’s got himself a chance to win on Sunday. Marco here have a little 50° wedge. Just pitch this good 5 10 ft on the green. Let it release out. Yeah, that’s a little heavy-handed as well to be honest. [Applause] That’s a brilliant pop. That really is. Two birdies in a row for Marco Pench. Two birdies in a row for Marco Pench. And he moves one clear of Rasmus Hygar. And he has the lead here in Denmark. It’s all gone a little quiet out there at the moment. Here’s the Italian Gregorio Deleo who is playing with Michael Lindberg today. Seven underpass are going along quite nicely. Couple of birdies, no drop shots. And that could well be three birdies and no drop shots. Going with the iron. He can’t reach for this, can he? Oh, I tell you what, I think he can. Is that a good line, John? Uh, just a bit. Oh, goodness me. With an iron? You’re joking. 316 yds. Good grief. Raasmas taking it on too. Don’t want to be undone. Outdone, I should say. This must be a pretty good line as well. The Trackman follow. Just needs something, doesn’t need it. Click. Where are we? Where are we? Yeah, that was better for me that one. That’s better. That was a a much more sort of a steeper angle of attack. Chop it and pop it and let it release. That was good. That was really well done. Nice shot. And you’re going to get a lot of bounce. But saying that, he’s played that well. Well, I mean Yeah. Yeah. It was It was a little bit bony and hard, wasn’t it, down there? But I mean, I really didn’t see that shot. Did you? No, not at all. Well, they spent quite a bit of time over the line here. And they got it spot on. Yeah, that’s justice of that T- shot. Unbelievable. Hitting it over the back of that green par four with an iron. I don’t think anybody else in the field will be doing that. So, a great birdie and so is the pot. Yeah, superb three from Rasmosyard. That will settle the ship in the first birdie of the day. Now, is he gonna be dancing after this putt delay out? Yes, he is. Oh my goodness me. Yes, he is. Bright shirt, bright game. It’s the sort you can be tempted to get overly ambitious, too. You don’t want to make a bogey. So, you’re trying to get it in close to give yourself the power putt, but well, that is that is just clicks. Tell you what, that that was a dangerous dangerous shot to take on. Oh, he rattled that. My goodness me, did he hit that firm, but it’s going to be the first bogey today for the Englishman. And in support to what Johnny is saying about the pins and Jamie as well, the the average score is actually struck over par today. That’s surprising. It’s not been a good day so far for Nicholas Norgar. [Music] [Applause] There is a support for him out there. He can’t be tackling this flag. It’s in a devilish location. A little bit left. High soft fades. The only way he can get this close. That is exactly what he’s done. There’s only been one birdie all day because of that position. It might be two in a minute. Oh, that was some shot, Tony. Well, I tell you what, he made a good contact. He’s hooking that over the water. Oh, beyond belief. That is just beyond belief. He’s overdue, Dom. Good time to do it for sure. He does. He does. He played the hole perfectly and he deserved the three in all honesty. It’s just a second birdie today, but it takes him clear the penge. Now, here you go, Tony. This is one you say is impossible. A bit of height. Depends on the lie, but it looked like it buried. Now the back stop. physical come back. Oh no. I think the other ball stopped it from coming back to the hole. How unlucky is that? You know what? Delay is sitting there watching this because it’s almost hovering. And if that’s suddenly uh he’s going to wait. He was just waiting before he marked it in case it backtracked cuz that could have fed back down to the hole. Watch how softly delayed hits this. It’ll breathe on it. Breathe on it. That’s how close it was to just doing a U-turn and coming down right next to the hole. Very nice work. down 46th in the race to Dubai listings and predicted to go to 107 if he did finish in that position. Does he need the back stop? Here it is. Is he going to get it? No, he didn’t need it. What a beautiful strike. He’s thinking I could walk off here with the lead all on my own if I pop this one in. the trap. So, it’s just a power for pench. Three under for the front line, one over for the back ner. Didn’t make a birdie coming home. That’s a surprise. Well done. So he will take the lead into Sunday of the Danish God Championship. Trying to win it as I say for the second time in the last three years. We are all set, aren’t we? For a fascinating final day. They’ll go again, these two in the final pairing. Alle Raasmus, you’ll be taking a one-shot lead into the final day. Your heart must have been pumping over that putt on 18, was it? It was, but it was also dead quiet. So, uh, yeah, I was looking forward to see what the reaction was going to be like, but yeah, it’s going to be uh it’s going to be an interesting day tomorrow. Two birdies and one birdie on the card was the big challenge of the day. Remaining patient 100%. The wind was tricky out there. It was it was gusty. It was changing directions. Um, so yeah, our patients got tested a lot today. And how important was the local support because there were thousands of people following you around today. Yeah, it was great. Uh I really enjoyed it. Um hopefully I can I can bring some cheers out there tomorrow. Yeah, you cuz you stand now with an opportunity to win your national open for the second time in three years. That would be pretty special, wouldn’t it? 100%. This is uh this is our fifth major. So uh yeah, it’d be cool if I could stand there with the trophy tomorrow. And how do you approach the final round tomorrow? What will be the mindset, the game plan as you try to land a second Danish championship? Similar today. Uh golf just felt a little harder today. Um just trickier conditions. Um but yeah, just trying to put the ball in play, hit a lot of greens, which I did today. Gave myself some some decent looks, but uh yeah, just remain patient and uh take a one hole at a time. And there’ll be some big expectation on you tomorrow obviously, but do you thrive under pressure like that? Um it’s a part of it. So, if I want to go out and play well tomorrow, I have to be able to uh, you know, handle the the situation. So, I’m looking forward to it. I know it’s not going to be totally enjoyable, but um yeah, I’m looking forward to it. Well, best of luck. Thank you very much, Raasmus. Thank you. To watch another DP World Tour video, click here.
