The PGA TOUR’s BMW Championship returns to Caves Valley Golf Club, where the TOUR’s best will see an extensively renovated layout. Scottie Scheffler continues to lead the way in the FedExCup standings and padded his position on top after finishing T3 in Memphis, Scheffler’s 14th top-10 finish in 17 events so far in 2025. Rory McIlroy, currently ranked No. 2 in the standings, returns to action for his first start of the 2025 FedExCup Playoffs. Joining them is Justin Rose who is looking to go back-to-back in the FedExCup Playoffs after his impressive playoff win over J.J. Spaun in Memphis. Other players to watch competing in Maryland include Ludvig Åberg, Xander Schauffele, Viktor Hovland, and Justin Thomas. Ryder Cup U.S. Team Captain Keegan Bradley will have a close eye on the field while he competes, as this is also the final week for hopefuls to try to automatically qualify for the U.S. Team to compete in the Ryder Cup this September, with the top six in the points standings after the BMW Championship automatically on the squad.

the leaders and those on the bubble including Ashe Batia began the week 29th started today 32nd needs a big weekend and he just got a big big eagle at the seventh but he pulled it out from the fairway he then birdie the eighth Batia is oscillating in and out of the top 30 everybody’s rooting for that guy now at 17 oatia coming off that birdie at 16 playing down the hill the ball stays in the air a long time here. You’re going to see a lot of them left to the hole today. A chance for Tia with a hole in one at an incredible hole and an incredible time. And not only does he get that hole in one to help him out with the FedEx Cup point standings, but there’s a big prize there at that par three. Par five, his third shot. Getable hole location. Great angle. Just fly it all the way to the hole with some spin. There you go. Just like that. That’s well done. He’s trying to play his way not only into the Tour Championship, but onto the European Rder Cup team. They they like good putters on those RDER Cup teams. And this guy statistically best putter on the PGA Tour. There you go. Right on Q. Some more evidence of it. He’s going to be difficult to leave off if you’re Luke Donald. I mean, he makes everything he looks at. [Applause] Good looking shot. Just right of it. Yeah. Underneath the hole. Scotty Shuffler will have a look at birdie at the first to get to 10 under. McNeely at the fourth for Eagle. Oh yeah. Good weekend here. He could plead his case too for the RDER Cup. Spent the first couple days playing with Keegan Bradley. Coming off a bogey at one. Nice bounce back. Nice bounce back. Close up on that shelf. Trying to turn one over. Boy, this is a good looking line. Oh, it’s a good looking shot. What a great shot. Oh, what an answer for McIntyre coming off that bogey. Back at the BMW Championship. Fourth hole, par five, third for McIntyre. Really tight lie. Got to clip this perfectly and he did. That had a chance to go in. That is some impressive short game. Unable to find the putting surface in two. So he needs to turn that red number into a green. Get in. Oh, you heard the caddy asking for it. Try and conserve energy. This would be a wonderful save for Oberg. Remember the terrible eye in the bunker. Well done. Nicely done. We’ll go to 11. Ricky Fowler doing everything he can to make it to East Lake. But number 39, the red the outside looking in. using the slope. Here he is. Nearly holds it, Terry. It’s such a dangerous shot. If you hit it too far up under the bank, it can spin back into the water. All right, Dan. Good Saturday to everybody. Six under Harry Hall in the chase in the green overall. Brad trying to make it to East Lake. Yeah, he’s been playing well, putting extraordinarily well, finding fairways. And this ninth hole is playing as easy as it has all week long. this whole location on the right side and from the fairway you can go right at it. Boy, taking on a flag. Well, when you hit it with his kind of precision, you can take on a lot of flags. Up to the 11th in the fairway. Victor Havlin, FedEx Cup champ back in 2023. This is an exciting hole right here. Second shot all over the water. He was on the left side of the fairway and had a better angle using the length of the green there. Just doesn’t surprise you. It used to be big guys wouldn’t be great short iron players. from 91 looking to match it. Well, you talk to the people around McIntyre, they say the thing that jumps out, he is tough. He is not going to back down. Par for just 306 and 127 left for Harry Hall. He’s got beautiful tempo to see that long lazy looking swing. Nice change of direction. Will that spin enough? Come a little bit more. Right about there, it starts coming back down. Oh, this could be really good. Gallery helping it get all the way down near the hole. Drop back to the ninth. Lengthy par putt for Oberg. We’ve been saying that a little bit today for Oberg. And that one just falls in the front edge. Starting to get back to that form we saw at the beginning of the season. First half starting to feel some confidence. Here’s the birdie attempt for Fowler at 14. Nice shot in here. You see him playing over 2 ft a break on this short of putt. Good looking putt by Yi. He needs to get in that top 10 vicinity to make it to East Lake. Projected 39. And then a birdie at 14. He’s going to need some more of that. This is Harry Hall who’s safely in at the moment. His third. Really nice sound there. You hear the clip off the turf. Oh man. I think he might save it. Variations make it tough for these players to choose the right club. See if he can be the first one to stick it in close. Oh, right over the flag stick. Great shape to it with the tray. Little draw there. Yep, there it is. That’s a real big make there for McIntyre to finally get back to underpar for the day. They’re all important right now for Ricky Fowler. Now this back hole location starts to go away from the player here. What a good looking P. Back to bat. Yes. Fowler from long range. Matt McNeely coming across to get it to nine. Yeah, Kurt talked about the screen and how much is going on here. You see this one breaking to the right. Oh, that’s good. Judged it perfectly. How about these two putters in this group? Yeah, not a bad leave here for Havlin for birdie at 14. No, this is where you want to putt from uphill. Even though it’s on the short side. Victor Hoblin projected [Music] that check that would you take away that one. The good news is he wasn’t going to have any bat spin over the 12. Oberg made a big towering fade here. mud on the left side of the ball with this sixiron. Didn’t matter for him, man. What a shot. Ober coming off birdie at 11. Sixiron mud ball. Looking for two in a row. Picking him up right there on 12. Making birdie there. Should be an eagle last last time we were here. Burns coming at us with a birdie try to get it to eight. up on top and then it comes to the right. Yes, Sam Burns. Get in the hole. Get in soon as you doubt him. Another important puck there for Sheffler. Little double breaker here. Should go hard to his right at the end. Yes, it did. Shler trying to close in on McIntyre who’s got a lengthy par putt left at the same hole. McNeely now at nine under a fiveiron. Plenty of speed in this swing. Not too far right. An aggressive line. Oh, right at it. Big swing. He’s going for it. Holy mackerel. Look when he passed it and not by much. He’s gained two strokes so far on McIntyre. Rides down the hill. Lay chasing the cup. And some more Sheffler magic here at 17. Well, Smiley not surprised either, I guess, after you set that one up. Looks like perfect speed. Off the ring. He’s feeling it with that putter today and this week. 394 ft of putts made in 3 days. Number one in the field. That is just a crazy number. Thanks for watching the PGA Tour. For more, click here. 1. "The run that MacIntyre is on is making Scheffler, Rory, Aberg, Xander, all of them look like droopy-eyed armless children."

  2. Good luck Bob for the forth round, they’re firing up your arse, so keep a cool head.
Good luck to Scottie too, may the best man win.
Some fantastic play from everyone & a joy to watch.
    C’mon Bob!!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

  3. It's not O-berg, it's AW-Berg. It's your bloody job to learn how to pronounce a players name and you can't even do that properly.
PGA commentary is not only boring, they can't even do the basics.

  4. Did he say Bobby Mac has holed 394 feet in putts in three rounds? that can't be right, that is over 7ft on average? He was popping them in for fun in that first round

  5. I can’t believe how bad these highlights are despite people complaining about them every time? I don’t want to see a par putt made by some over par but not seeing the top 3 making some of their birdies?

  6. Yet another frustrating pitch’n’putt fest. What about showing us some GOLF, as well as injecting some sense of narrative into the reel?
