A plane has made an emergency landing on a packed golf course in Sydney, with the pilot and passenger miraculously escaping without major injury.
The Piper Cherokee light plane crashed into the ground at Mona Vale Golf Course on the Northern Beaches about 2pm.
Two men, believed to both be aged in their 50s, suffered minor injuries and were treated by paramedics at the scene.
An Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) spokesman confirmed there was a pilot instructor and student on-board the plane when it made the emergency landing.
Flight records show the plane left Camden about 1pm and intended to land at Wollongong.
In footage obtained by The Manly Advertiser, several people can be seen playing golf on the course as the plane flew overhead.
Onlookers watched in horror as the plane crashed onto the green.
Although the aircraft remained mostly intact, debris from the plane could be seen scattered across the green.

Golfers could be heard screaming as the plane crashed to the ground in a video captured by one onlooker.
The plane crashed in front of the clubhouse as bystanders rushed over to the plane to help the pilot and passenger.
The two men were loaded into a golf cart and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman told NewsWire the pilot and passenger were both in a stable condition.
Police, paramedics and fire crews are now on site providing support.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau has been notified of the incident.
