Yankee Stadium where the New York Yankees and Houston Astros rekindle their rivalry, their first match up in 2025. The Yankees have won nine of the last 10 regular season games against Houston. We detailed Houston’s dominance of New York in the postseason over the last number of years. So it should be an interesting matchup. Certainly here tonight, Schler, it is his fifth major league start hard throwing right hander from Massachusetts grew up a red Sox fan, but he’s got the Pinstripes on now. Here’s Jesus Sanchez the number two and he swats one in the left center field and Jesus Sanchez has the first hit of the ball game one on and one out for Jose Altuve who gets the Bronx cheer. No love lost here at Yankee Stadium for some of these Astros , namely this one, but Jose Altuve will always remember New York and this one into the left field corner is gone where you don’t want to wake up a sleeping giant and he lives for these type of moments. Now, we mentioned Altuve and Correa reunited to torment the Yankees and it didn’t take very long for Jose Altuve to get it started here at Yankee Stadium tonight, Jose Altuve is hit more home runs against the Yankees than any other outside the American League west. And now it’s Carlos Correa turn Correa hits this the other way and in the right field, a base hit with that slider and Carlos Correa makes it three straight hits for the Astros here in the first suddenly heating up christian walker 16 homers, three of those home runs so far in the month of August 12 pit swing and a miss slider very tight slider. And that’s out number two. First strikeout for slit two outs and Diaz is the batter responds with a couple of strikeouts. Brown getting the ball for the Astros today coming off an outstanding outing his last time out on Friday in Boston when he gave up just a run over seven innings, really emerge as a front line ace Rice 2, 2916 homers, 35 runs batted in big left hand hitters and hits it to the right corner that’s going to drop over the homered for the Astros in this first inning. Now, Aaron Judge takes his first turn tonight. 32 swing and a ground ball softly hit left side charging shortstop. Has it rose out Judge and that’s the second out Rice goes to third with two outs. A runner at third for Cody, 2 75 20 homers and 68 runs batted in beer. It’s a bouncing ball to the second basemanDub-n. Dub-n. So Hunter Brown works around that double and puts up a zero first Chisholm Jr will lead it off against Hunter Brown who worked around a one out double by Ben Rice in the first round threw 22 pitches swinging and a mess got him on a high fastball at 98. Chisholm strikes out the first for Brown tonight. Brings up Jason dominguez dominguez nearing both 10 homers and 20 stolen bases swaying at a mess. Brown gets dominguez on the changeup. That’s back to back strikeouts for Hunter two away two outs and Anthony Volpe is the batter and that is strike three call at the letters Volpe goes down looking and Hunter Brown strikes out the side in the second. It’s ball four to Correa hit batsman and a walk here in the third. Give christian walker a chance to add to this 2 to 0. Astros leads Walker lining one to right field there. Schler avoids some trouble here in the third. Tough play for Volpe, not in time beating it out down the line wasn’t hit real hard but Trammel hustling. It’s an infield for Taylor. Here’s the two, two driven to right field. That’s a base hit. Tramel will stop at second base Bellinger to it quickly. The right fielder runners on 1st and 2nd Dub-n one for two going the other way back to back singles for the Astros Cam smith will be the bat and now Smith with a ground ball. That’s a base hit. They’re going to leave the runner home around third is coming to the plate beer with a great arm, fires a strike and it’s in time to get outstanding defensive play. Can’t believe they fit Taylor on a bang bang play like that. A risky shin with the top of the order coming up for Houston, a guy that, you know, has a tremendous arm in right field in Bellinger, a big out for the Yankees now two away and the batter will be Pena was hit by a pitch. His last chops this one over the second base. It’s right on the back to end the inning. So the Astros end up not scoring despite three hits. Thanks to a great thrill from cody Bellinger one out here in the fifth. Jose Altuve cracked a home run in the first inning. A two run shot into the left field corner. That’s been the only scoring so far tonight. Past the third baseman down the line, it’s a base hit for Altuve second of the game and it’s an extra base hit again as well. It’s a double for altuve every time they boo him. Maybe they should reverse that and cheerful once in a while has not yet made it through six innings in any of his major league stars had to give up more than three runs. Even when he doesn’t have his best command. He seems to be able to make pitches and still give the Yankees offense, a shot to win ballgames. Third base. The batter walker zero for two fly ball to right center. Grisham is after the track Schler survives five allows just two in the first and it’s still 2 to 0. Houston Brown has allowed one hit so far. That was a double by Ben Rice with one out in the first. That’s the only baserunner continues to roll. That’s 13 consecutive batters retired. He five check swing dribbler right side off the mound. He fields tosses to first side retired 123 innings for Hunter Brown. Once again, he has set down 14 straight Yankees de los Santos takes over a good job by Cam Slit. He was able to get through five innings, a high pitch count but only two runs allowed ground ball up the middle ranging to his left, he can get it. It’s in the center and Diaz aboard with a leadoff hit shows pulls it back, ball gets away from Wells and goes to the backstop. Diaz takes second. I wonder if Wells was distracted by the bat coming in front of his mast, a runner in scoring position. Nobody out now not bunting. Pops it up for the Yankees as Diaz stays at second base so far , the Astros just one for six runners in scoring position. Bouncer to the left side that won’t move Diaz two outs runner at second. Here’s Cam smith. The Yankee pitching has kept them in this game. We’ll see if the Yankee Bats can get going. It is still 2 to 0 Astros a leadoff walk for Brown here in the sixth. That’s the first baserunner for the Yankees since the first inning. This is the start of something big. Just the second base runner for the Yankees tonight. Breaking ball pulled down the first baseline past the diving walker make man to second. He’ll get the stop sign there as well in with the double. That’s the break. They were looking for the Yankees threatening 2nd and 3rd. Nobody out. Grisham pops it up. That’s shallow. It’s a long run in for Sanchez near the line Mcmahon tagging but won’t try to score one out. Opponents have only hit 211 off Brown with runners in scoring position this year. Ben Rice who doubled earlier, the only other Yankee hit before this inning and the it scores Mcmahon holding a third as well. Ben Rice has his second hit today and the Yankees are on the board. It’s 2 to 1 now. It’s Judge judge just five for his last 36 with 17 strikeouts. Always one swing away from a monster shot and he like to win the right center on the ties. The game as well scores headed for third is Rice the throw too late. Aaron Judge an RB I single and it’s not a didn’t try to do too much, just did what he’s been doing all year just getting enough on that did enough to get it in right there to tie this game. Brown had been dominant and brilliant at one point retiring 14th consecutive, but he has been knocked out of the box here in the sixth inning Bennett Sousa. The left hander facing cody Bellinger, swing at a mess. Good morning, good afternoon and Good night cody Ballinger second out of the inning. Runners remain at the corners two outs in the inning and the batter will be Chisholm zero for two and hits it in the air to right. Smith started back now, races in slows down, gets there and makes the catch to retire the side 2 to 2 as we head to the seventh at Yankee Stadium, it’s back to back walks. Santos won by Astros have runners on second with two outs. Christian Walker is the batter zero for three tonight. Correa have both been on base three times tonight but it has not been supplemented by walker in this game. Breaking ball swung on and struck him out big one for camilo do first appearance here at the stadium as a Yankee, one of the great set of men in baseball, 76 strikeouts in 51 innings this year. A guy who was extremely tough to square up to right. If it’s fair, it’s gone. It is a just missed it, it just hooked at the last moment foul trying to blow on that ball just enough to get foul go right. Wells with a double and a run scored earlier. He narrowly missed giving the Yankees their first lead tonight swing and struck him out on a slider. That wasn’t the best pitch either, but it had a one and that was enough to get Wells. There’s Ben Rice left the power hitter and Rice strikes out to end the inning. Brian Abreu was able to avoid that big fly down the right field line off the bat of Wells. It was easy from there 123 and in the ninth inning in a tie game where you typically see a closer. You see luke Weaver for the Yankees and it’s ball four. Sanchez works a two out walk and gives Jose Altuve a chance to hurt the Yankees again at the end of his bat, one to Rosario is in and he makes the catch. Altuve retired and it’s Aaron Judge to lead off the bottom of the ninth. Big man in the big moment. Aaron Judge leads off in the bottom of the ninth inning with the Astros bringing in their closer one of the best in the game. Josh Slider is popped up on the infield Dub-n and Pena converge Pena step into the outfield makes the two handed grab behind second for out number one innings for Josh Hader to send this one to extras on just eight pitches. He retires the Yankees middle 3123. We didn’t see Devin Williams in the traditional closer spot in the top of the ninth inning, but he is entering the game here in the 10th inning with the automatic runner Jose Altuve placed at second base. It’s been trouble for him lately since the all star break. His, er, a is 939 and that one goes to the backstop will take third base immediately. The murmur throughout this crowd comes just as immediately as the wild pitch. Well, that’s not a good start just looking to put it in play now and Correa lines one through a base hit and Correa strike again against the Yankees, the home run early in the game from altuve the go ahead Carlos Perez. Now with two away, it’s Diaz at first base. Taylor Trammell will be the batter against Williams and that’s hit high in the air and deep to right. Rosario was back at the wall Taylor with the insurance, a two run 5 to 2 here in the 10th and Williams having a nightmare of nightmare again and he’s hearing it from the fans back on the mound after a quick ninth inning , he’ll try to hold it down in the 10th to get a win. Anthony will be the batter now with a lot of that’s a base hit comes in, it’s 5 to 3 and that will give aaron Boone a chance to put his right handers off the bench into this game first. It will be Goldschmidt Stanton on deck. A full count on Goldschmidt, he’s the tying run. It’s the 10th pitch and it’s Goldschmidt with a fly ball to right shallow. Sanchez comes in, he’s there two outs here in the 10th. Now it’s Stanton who’s been red hot has 21 RBIs in his last 21 games with nine homers. Jose will go in the game has great speed and now the winning run comes to the plate here. Trentham has never touched Hater three at bats, three strikeouts in his career. And that’s lifted in the center field racing in mccormick. He gets there and makes the catch and that is the ball game. This matchup did not disappoint he the hits of al and end up prevailing in a hostile environment on the road.

Yank me fans we’ll always be the bottom of the barrel of Pathetic slugs clapping at a human being narrowly getting hit in the head by a 94mph ball. Fluck all you New Yorkers…
Professional sports are rigged for betting.. it's about time all fans realize this. A pitcher can simply throw the ball away to win a bet for a friend.
You got to send Volpi back down for about 2 months, the goof ball hasn't got a clue
I think the foul poles should light up green if it's fair red if it's foul.
We are not making the playoff this year. Simple as that.
The Yankees never should've signed Jazz.
American East baseball is overrated
Come on down south n sit a spell
Hunter Brown looks like the Great Value version of Jim Breuer.
Fire Boone get rid of Devin williams
DEVIN AGAIN🤦♂…WHAT ARE YOU DOING BONER?…AT THIS RATE…FORGET IT!
I have three, and ONLY three favorite teams.
The Los Angeles Dodgers. Remember how the Dodgers beat the Yankees last year for the World Series championship. That was fun. Lots of fun. Anyway:
Whomever is playing the Giants.
Whomever is playing the Yankees.
😉
Yankees straight booty
Lmao why would anyone want to play for the Yankees. Literally the worst fans in the world
Do we really need to see a slow motion close-up of a player spitting?
Yankees are a .500 team since the Cody bellinger game in citi field.
still use williams but u have a doval its a joke 😂😂
1) stop reacting to Altuve, he eats it up
2) STOP putting Devin Williams in clutch situations!!!!!
Why is Devin still aloud to even pitch man’s buns
Si queremos ganar la directiva de los Yankees tienen que sacar David Williams de picher y traer aroldis champa
Y cambiar de caoch también
Bocones 0:40 toma tu homerun.
Oh damn, I didn't know that Cam Schlittler grew up a Red Sox fan
In my opinion, the New York Yankees should never ever EVER draft someone who grew up as a fan of that ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC ORGANIZATION, known as the Boston Red Sox and vice-versa, the Boston Red Sox should never ever EVER draft someone who grew up as a fan of THE GREATEST ORGANIZATION IN PROFESSIONAL SPORTS HISTORY!!!, a.k.a. the New York Yankees… bc, if you were to ask me, both teams are asking for NOTHING but TROUBLE by doing that…
Does anybody else agree with what I just said?… I'm jw, that's all.
gODDAMN you Devin Williams!!!
New Yorkers aren't worth a It and they don't even realize it. Lol
🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Altuve and Correa Yankees killer 😂😂
Go Astros
BAHAHAHAHA yankees!!! YOUR NOTHING AGAINST THE STROS!!!! OORAH HOUSTON ASTROS!!!!
Why do they keep putting Devin Williams in the game if he has a 9.39 ERA this season everytime I see Devin Williams close a game with the Yankees in the lead or tied game I always bite my nails
