Bo, how do you assess today’s bogey-free 68? Yeah, it was um pretty stress-free. I think I only missed two greens. Um yeah, I mean, I’m happy with the score. Um but little disappointed. I had some pretty good chances like on the back nine. Um and so yeah, you would you’d like to take advantage of because you never know when you’re going to get a day like this. And uh um definitely the course was getable if you hit it in play and I was able to do that all day. And um but yeah, super happy how I played. I mean, anytime you can go bogey free around this place, you’re going to be happy. Yeah. A bit less wind today, but it’s still a really tough track. How well do you have to play to keep a blemish off the car? Yeah. I mean, yeah, because any big mis hit, I mean, it’s a double or triple waiting, you know, like um there’s there’s very few spots where there’s a wide side where you can take one side out of play. So, um driving the ball well is huge and um so far this week I’ve been able to do that. So, um definitely need to do it tomorrow. How much do you enjoy the challenge of Lynx golf? I love it. you know, um came over here in ’04 was my first open at Trun and um man, it just challenges every part of your game. And uh luckily I’ve been in Oklahoma now over 30 years. So the wind I’m pretty used to like where I went to school at Oklahoma State. Um the wind’s very similar to the first two days, but it’s just fun. I was telling my my son, he’s he’s never cattied before and he’s catting this week and I said, “Look, Lynx golf and wind, the number doesn’t really matter. it you’re just it’s all about trajectory and hitting the ball solid and um probably the thing I’m most proud of this week my uh my distance control with my irons has been good so far. So just need to do it again tomorrow. You look and sound like you’re having a lot of fun out there. How important is it when conditions are so difficult that you try and enjoy it. Absolutely. I mean, you know, you’re going to get good bounces and bad bounces and you might get gusted with the win. And you know, the main thing is like you just got to commit to something and try to pull off the shot you’re playing and whatever happens, you got to accept the results and kind of move on to the next one. But, you know, the first day I told him, I said, you know, that was baptism by fire uh his first day in uh cuz the Wednesday practice round was like this. And so, um he got an education on what it’s like and the shots that I was having to play around this golf course.
