What happens when a Major Champion meets the Wedge Guru? Watch Shane Lowry discuss his Wedge setup and what he appreciates most about the RTZ Wedge with Roger Cleveland.
I think this is the nicest wedge I’ve been in a long time. You don’t have a jacket on or anything. This is how No, I’m good. I’m good. It’s warm. So, I understand you changed your lofts. I did. I was using a 50 degree bent to 51, right? And then I was using a 54 bend to 55 and I was using a 58 bent to 59. Yes. So, uh I was just thinking about it recently cuz I I much prefer chipping like with a square face. Yes. Okay. So, I thought if I get more loft, it’s obviously going to be easier. And the fact like only in the past year I’ve gone to actually to four wedges. Well, I think of a man that has your skills in this area, you know, to tighten up those yardages. Yeah. To be exact in those yardages, I think is brilliant. I do love this new material to be honest. It’s not that I didn’t like it when it rusted, but I just it just we’re finding out that rust is not really your friend. We’ve, you know, it actually reduces spin because it degrades the edge and this edge stays and that’s the edge is the spin. So, your spin is going to last longer with this. Okay. Yeah. It’s great. I love them.
