Indian Wells Golf Resort History video selected for prestigious film festival in Italy
The Indian Wells Golf Resort History Video has been selected for the Paladino d’Oro Sport Film Festival in Italy — a significant honor, as this prestigious festival is known as one of the oldest and most respected sports film festivals in the world.
The 13-minute video highlights the history and design of Indian Wells’ two award-winning golf courses: the Celebrity Course and the Players Course. Featuring breathtaking walkthroughs and thoughtful interviews with golf course architects John Fought and Clive Clark, the film is a tribute to both the natural beauty and intentional design of the Resort.
“To have this video selected from hundreds of global submissions is an honor,” said Videographer Jeremy Camp. “The Indian Wells Golf Resort is a gorgeous sight, and being able to capture its history and essence was a thrill.”
Nationally acclaimed, the Indian Wells Golf Resort has long stood out in the world of golf. Its two courses have earned numerous accolades, and a new chapter is on the horizon: the Players Course is currently undergoing a multimillion-dollar redesign to enhance the playing experience. With this exciting transformation underway, the City of Indian Wells saw an opportunity to pause and reflect on the Resort’s storied past.

Held annually, the Paladino d’Oro Sport Film Festival promotes the value of sports, including respect for rules, fair play and overcoming limitations. Films are selected each year by an international panel of judges based on creativity, storytelling and impact within the world of sports. This year’s festival will take place during the first week of December and will conclude with an awards ceremony honoring top entries. The video’s selection highlights the power of visual storytelling and the impact of the collaborative work between Indian Wells and Tripepi Smith.
