Kai Trump is celebrating a milestone.
The granddaughter of Donald Trump—and daughter to Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump—has begun her senior year of high school, and she marked the occasion with a look into the special day.
“I cannot believe it’s my last first day of high school,” she captioned the Aug. 14 post. “Senior year here we come.”
The accompanying carousel of photos showed off how Kai and her friends decorated their cars, with the words “Senior 2026” painted in bright colors on the rear windows. The 18-year-old donned a golden crown in one photo as she and her friends posed alongside their vehicles.
Kai also added an extra special message on her car—an homage to her next step at the University of Miami. The golfer verbally committed to the women’s golf team over a year ago, stating she was “beyond excited” at the time.
In the August 2024 announcement, Kai also thanked her parents for helping her achieve this goal as well as her grandfather, President Trump, “for giving me access to great courses and tremendous support.”

Kai begins her senior year with her grandfather sitting in the Oval Office, the first time his presidency has overlapped with her a full year of her high school experience.
Back in January, Kai shared a glimpse with her followers into her experience at the Presidential Inauguration.
