Kai Trump appears to have swapped out the Tesla Cybertruck she received from Donald Trump following the highly publicized fallout between the president and Elon Musk.
The teenager and sports influencer recently posted a collection of images on Instagram, commemorating the opening day of her senior year as she prepares for the University of Miami next fall. The post shows Kai alongside her friends, displaying “The U” hand gesture, which followed her disappointing defeat in a basketball contest against her brother Tristan.
Kai was pictured standing beside a Cadillac Escalade, which seems to be her current vehicle preference.
Her grandfather had previously presented her with a special edition Cybertruck last year, with Kai showcasing the “Cyberbeast” on her social media channels. She also posted clips of herself operating the vehicle in a competition back in March 2025.
However, it appears she’s now transitioned away from the Cybertruck. Given that Kai Trump’s Cybertruck was a customized model, the precise cost of her specific vehicle remains unknown.
Cybertruck pricing varies depending on configuration levels and options. The premium Cybertruck can exceed $100,000, indicating Kai’s personal automobile likely commanded a price point significantly higher than that amount.
It’s evident that Kai is maximizing her final senior year in high school as she prepares for the University of Miami. Notably, Kai will be participating on the Hurricanes’ golf squad, fitting seamlessly with her academic aspirations alongside Donald.
Despite their different ways of life, both Trumps have succeeded in building a connection through their mutual passion for golf. Recently, Donald voiced his hope for Kai to enroll at the University of Miami, a choice shaped by their tight relationship and “special bond.”
“Me and him are very close, and we bond over golf,” she told FOX News Digital.
“So, he influenced me a lot with golf, especially when I was talking about schools and colleges. He loved that I was going to Miami because Trump Doral was right there as well, so he’s influenced me a lot with golf.”
Additionally, Kai revealed how Tiger Woods, who is currently dating her mother, has made an impression on her and influenced her golfing path. Speaking to the American Jr. Golf Association after a recent tournament, Kai highlighted the golf legend’s impact.
“I would say a lot of the pros, obviously, like looking up to them and watching them,” Trump started. “Obviously, Tiger [Woods], Rory [McIlroy]. Like watching those guys, especially at such a young age, and now I get to know them.
“It has been really cool, and that obviously kind of influenced me. But also, I’d say like my mom, I wouldn’t be playing golf without her.”
