The PGA TOUR’s BMW Championship returns to Caves Valley Golf Club, where the TOUR’s best will see an extensively renovated layout. Scottie Scheffler continues to lead the way in the FedExCup standings and padded his position on top after finishing T3 in Memphis, Scheffler’s 14th top-10 finish in 17 events so far in 2025. Rory McIlroy, currently ranked No. 2 in the standings, returns to action for his first start of the 2025 FedExCup Playoffs. Joining them is Justin Rose who is looking to go back-to-back in the FedExCup Playoffs after his impressive playoff win over J.J. Spaun in Memphis. Other players to watch competing in Maryland include Ludvig Åberg, Xander Schauffele, Viktor Hovland, and Justin Thomas. Ryder Cup U.S. Team Captain Keegan Bradley will have a close eye on the field while he competes, as this is also the final week for hopefuls to try to automatically qualify for the U.S. Team to compete in the Ryder Cup this September, with the top six in the points standings after the BMW Championship automatically on the squad.

Typically a very neutral ball flight. Really? Oh yeah. Six straight birdies and then I’ll just go ahead and start with one here today. Yeah. If you’re worried about McIntyre at all, whether he’d be able to hang on to this lead right out of the gate, flying it all the way past the flag into this does. Wow. Beautifully done. Collie opted to finish in the daylight at 11:00 a.m. this morning at the 18th hole. Tom Hogi nearly slams it home. Nice look here from the far left side. All about controlling the spin here into number five. Ah, there’s a beauty there from Tommy Fleetwood. Fantastic shot at the fourth. Ludvig Oberg going for the green in two. Left. Elegant swing of Ludvig Oberg. Oh wow. Oh yeah. Look at this. What a golf shot. Best we’ve seen by far. This is a whole location that he will be licking his lips. Love to move it left to right. Oh, this could get better. Get off the ball, Mark. There we go. Oh, line it up. Give me a car. He says, “Give me a car.” It would have been a BMW. [Applause] This one looks to be on a very good line as well. Oh, even better. What a golf shot there from Justin Thomas. Fight back continues. You’ve got to give it a go today at 11. That’s all you have is 295 carry. Fleetwood like a battering ram at nine. Come on, that’s worth a smile. giving himself too many opportunities, not taking advantage. Tracing technology provided by Trackman and a good one to follow from Cameron Young [Applause] unable to convert. Matt fits Patrick front portion of the green able to just trickle it in. There’s only a couple groups that have come through. We’ll go over to 18. Harry Hall’s third. Out of position off the TE, forced to lay up now from 60 yards. Trying to spin something back. And oh yeah, using that back stop to perfection. He’s going to get away with a four. And a lovely round of golf at the third. Brian Harmon for birdie. Slow one up the hill. Harm typically a very good putter. Oh yeah. Well done there. Golf game looks very very good at the moment. The only green he’s missed today was uh well he hit the one on the par three there but just off the ninth green. So couple miss but very very good with the irons for the most. And there we go. Add to that footage of putts. Little nod of the head there from Robert McIntyre. Jacob Bridgeman was at one over trying to get back to even par at the end of his round. Everything just right of that left greenside bunker does feed towards the hole. You may see a couple more of those coming up. And playing alongside Robert McIntyre, a man who at this point must feel like he’s getting lapped, Hideki Matsuyama. This was a moment ago. to the tea at 13. The momentum did not carry over from last week’s win for Justin Rose. Not yet anyway. And he had trouble off the tee yesterday. 11 and 12. He drove it in the water. So that is some shot right there. That has to be one of the best of the day at 13. Just trying to salvage his four. There you go. What a shot. really good. After the weather delay, they were firm and crispy prior to the downpour. Maverick McNeely playing alongside Keegan Bradley and the man who flies his own airplane from tournament to tournament very high just left of the flag stick trying to hold on that line. Oh, what a beauty. ended up right at it. Got a little bit of release. That is a great opportunity on a pretty darn tough par three. See that name Ludvig Oberg share a fifth right now. One of the best swings anywhere in the world. He keeps saying that every time we see him, but it’s true. Look at this shot. That’s the slope Tommy Fleetwood is trying to have it come back down in there for a He’s looking like he’s going up there. It looks like I think he is. backs. Boy, it came out really good on a fantastic line if he judged this correctly. Oh, what a shot. What a shot, John. He judged it correctly. Landed it on the green. Another long pass three. Yeah, why not? Let’s make the golf course even tougher. Front right here for Hogi. underrated striker as well. Very good iron player. Second for Lowry at 10. 148 to the hole. 466 yd. It’s a T-shot that plays 30 yds downhill. This is just inside 150. They dramatically changed after the Storms came through yesterday. Andrew Novak number 15 on the FedEx Cup list. See if he can get it to stay on that shelf here. Oh, I consider that disappeared off that almost to sink. [Applause] All right, Tommy can afford to go at it as the green softened up a little bit from yesterday afternoon’s rain. Kentlay, the twotime BMW champ on the way at 10. I hate seeing some of these RDER Cup stars struggle like Morocawa Kentley Justin Thomas but uses a slope there beautifully emergency back home and he’s got Chris Kirk’s caddy. So pretty much Sheffller reading the greens on his own this week. Harris English here at the seventh. Beautiful spin control there with the wedge. A regular season event or a playoff event. It was amazing atmosphere. Michael Kim. Yeah. 195. So middle irons in here for a lot of players at 15. And not many better than that. Nice little tight draw in there. Now the fourth at 14 for Pendra. He knew it. Absolutely knew it. Just an easy shot. 37 ft. Get in there, cowboy. Come on. Get in. Oh yeah. Tommy Fleetwood in with a 69 today. We watched him bogey this 17th hole. And a porring 18 as Hogi for birdie ho. [Applause] His fifth birdie of the day. Four in a row. That works. So we saw 14th 156 for Victor. He talked about the the back up against the wall mentality. This, you know, came in the week 28th. McIntyre is seeing the lines. He’s also seeing the lines off the tea which we talked about a lot. Ricky second shot 163. Oh, snuffs it in there close. Going for two in a row after that chip in at seven. But getting back to McIntyre. Second at 12 for Patrick Kentle. I was just looking to see where these guys were on the 12th hole and already saw where he hit it. Oh. Incredible. 17th hole. Michael Kim playing a T- box shorter today at 17 214. This has got to be a comfortable shot for a guy that only hits draws. Yeah, I mean with softer greens. I mean, yes, it’s a green light pin. And uh what a great shot from my fellow Cal Bear out there. There you go. Drove it well yesterday. Michael Kim, this appears to be a nine iron on a really good line. Got his attention, doesn’t it? You can tell he liked it. That glance up and back down again. [Music] This two slicing pretty hard. Looks awfully good. That is awesome. Is that a missed fairway? His second missed fairway. Yeah. Big congratulations to here as we’re going to call some golf here with Scotty Sheffford 12, the hardest hole in the golf course. Yeah, this really is a tough hole. I mean, uh, you know, he’s obviously in great position. I wonder if he hit just a little less than driver there. But, um, I mean, oh goodness, look at this shot. Oh my gosh, he just drove the green at 11, by the way. I like the way this looks. [Music] right at it. Himself right around six feet. Ripped way up in the sky. Oh, right at it. Not just hitting the green. I’ll take back away for the eagle. Eagle throw. You’re looking good right now. I know. Yeah. 153 yds, but again, this is uphill. So, if you add him close to a club here, it’s a good looking swing. Good looking shot. [Music] There you go, Ricky. How to finish at 18 gets one of them back. Thanks for watching the PGA Tour. Amazing start for McIntyre with 62-64…14 under! So when -8 is where the 2nd place Tournament Leaders are tied (Scheffler and Aberg), this course, with a Par of 70 and not playing particularly easy
seems to fit his game (different horses for different courses)! IMHO he already deserves it! Solid player, so something like 66, 68 = -20 ought to win it. See what he does, but somebody has to get RED HOT to catch him!
mon Bobbo!!!!
Tommy missed his birdy putt on 18 again 😮 Bob playing out of this world ❤😅
All the greens are so soft !!! I have never seen so many balls stop dead…..
Bobby Mac leading the pack!
Showing players at +3,45 but won’t even show more of Mcilroy. Yesterday’s highlights, same thing. No mcilroy
Bobby mac jeeeeez
I didn’t see either of the two best players in the world hit a shot until 10 minutes in, what are we even doing here? Please, go watch the DP World Tour highlight videos and do that
Show more of the guys in contention
love seeing a bunch of solid shots from guys 15+ off the pace
⛳️💚💚⛳️
The amateur LPGA sized crowds are cute 🙂
Awesome highlights and shot selection 👏
It's Mac's tournament to lose .
Some of the worst highlight videos I have seen . Sheffler makes 3 birdies in his first 7 holes and don't see any of them .
When MacIntyre is -14, why are we watching highlights from guys that are over par?
MISTER MCINTYRE IS PLAYING A GAME THAT EVERYBODY ELSE IS UNFAMILIAR WITH !
FLAWLESS FROM THE FLYING SCOTT
Commentators are so bad
Many Europeans play really well right now! Hope it stays like that to the Ryder😎🤞
Rooooting for Tommmmehhhh
Mon the Boab!! 🏴
Absolutely hopeless collection of shots that tells no story. Avoid.
Is this darts or golf? Soft greens.
Those greens are so receptive. It's all a bit too flattering target golf.
If Ludvigs putter catches fire he’s going to clean up
Europe are going to wipe America.
The RYDER CUP teams are all over this event. Going to be epic
