And we’ll pick up the story of Arasmus at the third hole. He was on a bit of a tear at this stage, Tony. Yeah, he eagled 18 at the end of his front line, then buried one, two, three. He wasn’t finished yet. I mean, wonderful stuff. Yeah, disappointingly did actually make a part at the fifth. the par three. But look at this bunker shot at the par five and he left that in the perfect place to pop from popped that in. Made no mistakes either. So that is seven under for seven holes. Wow. He made a par at the short par for seventh. Can be a tricky hole. It’s caught a few people out including Christopher Wrightton yesterday and then this eight trouble here and that was for par. What a great day. Fabulous day. Really made a statement. Remember Matias was a regular top 10 finisher on the tour. Went over to the United States. Didn’t quite work out for him. So, he’s back on the DP World Tour. But that’s beautifully controlled. Hello. You wouldn’t. I thought we were going to pick up where we left off yesterday. Well, Kraken par three. This is your little high five junior lounge. The players after they’ve hit their shots and wander to the green, they’ll have to go and high five. All the young kitties aspiring to be one of them. 181 yds down a breeze coming off the left. Absolute beauty. Dead online Dan Bradbury. He’s even par 174 yds. Time to nudge one in. Close. I think that’s close enough. Beautifully done. Tapping birdie. And he’s under par. Still coming back to you Tony for support on the fact that 534 for me is a par five. I will get back to you after SA chips it in. [Applause] Outside the top 190 in the race to Dubai is a far better player than that and that will help. But he needs a big week and he needs one soon really doesn’t he? Really big week does Xander. Our first look today at Nicholas Kulsars. This is for three birdies in a row at the 14th. Go on. Oh, how about that? Rolling back the years. Now out to the action and near guard Pison. Yeah, great touch. What a beautiful touch. That wasn’t that easy. It had fallen off the false front. At one point it was on the surface and didn’t quite cling on, but it looks like he’s going to make the birdie three, which he thoroughly deserves because he took the hole on. Bjön was the skipper and he won in front of him. He actually didn’t get a pick for the RDER Cup. He said he was okay with it at the time. Torbjon Orison. Thankfully, that little strip of rough has held it up and that was a really good chip. That was Sadia out of the Ber. What a shot. What a shot. Sand is excellent here though this week. You do what you like out of it. Look like a very smooth attack on Oh yeah. Well done. That’s a cracking shot from D. Nearly a gimme. Nearly. Well, this ball got a little top hat of mud on top of it and it’s on a bit of cabbage as well. Not easy. Well, good break or bad break, you decide. Could have gone straight in on the bounce. That would have been unbelievably lucky. Quickening up. I think this just left edge just a fraction that way. Got it. Oh, how about that from Marco Penge? Look at the line he’s going on. And watch how perfectly that club head goes back in. Oh, what a shame. That is what he does so well into here. Great chances. Just a bit off the right. Beautiful from Von Bellings. And what a start that is. He’s four under through the first six holes. So he moves it to five under. Spenson. Plenty of room to work with him. Beautiful. Back at six, Thomas Bure. Oh, look at this. Look at this goal. He said two that should have gone in today. He’s showing off now. Thomas Olison back at six for Regal. [Music] Big move. Big move from Torbjorn Olison. Just beautiful. Third shot now for Raasmus Neol at 10. I got to say it all adds up to a par four in the end by the looks of it. Ready shot. Here’s Birdie at the 12th. Good pace. Good line. Yeah, that’ll do. Oh, it’s fast. Fantastic. Thomas Bujorn. Freddy shot. Birdie putt. Keep going. Keep going. Yes. Nice. More breathing space. can start thinking now about moving up the leaderboard rather than worrying about the cut. Well, he hit the spot. Oh, it’s a great shot. Really well judged. He landed that exactly where he paced to. Thank you very much. Snapping of fingers. He knew it had ample pace on it. It was zooming down there. Lovely when the flag gets in the way. Quickly to Arasmus at the 14th. Clicky fingers and wants it to sit down. That’s not bad at all. That’s a beauty. What a shot. Yes, he was lucky off the tea with the iron flipping the edge of the trees, but that was a a really good shot. I would have chipped this. Oh, maybe not. What would you know, John? Not much. I love it when they prove me wrong. 16 again this time. Olison. Not the best angle and out of the rough. And who cares? Who cares? What a golf shot. The map and a compass here. Oh well, you would have expected he could take a drop as I don’t know what’s going on there. Oh, there you go. Looking down on Yesper Fence, who trickled off the side of the 17th. Oh, go in. Well done. He deserved that. [Music] Oh, that’s unlucky, man. Settle. Settle. What a beautiful shot. But he’s on the ups slope. We know how skilled he is. And that was straight at the flag. I tell you what, in the air, he thought that was within six ft of the hole, I reckon. But what a hard bounce. I’m just got to say, doesn’t that show you how much it means to him to get through inside the line almost and it is a peach of a shot. Brilliantly done. Yeah, great way to finish the day for Marco Pench. finished the day with a birdie and stayed down watching the sand until the ball was well on its way. That’s a key as well. And it’s a birdie at the last for Marco Penge and a round of 68 and he is going to go into the weekend two shots behind Raasmas Hygar. They are guaranteed to play together tomorrow. Raasmus 66 yesterday. You’ve gone two better today with a 64. You must be really enjoying playing here on home solen in front of a home crowd. For sure. Yeah, I’ve I’ve had two great days. So, uh yeah, I’m looking forward to what the weekend uh brings. What was it about the conditions this morning, the way the course is set up that meant that you felt you could really go out there and attack? Well, to be honest, I didn’t feel like I was attacking that much. I was putting the ball in play off the tea. Um hitting the middle of the green for most part of the round and uh obviously towards the end of the first nine um made a birdie on an eagle and that sort of uh yeah somewhat got the round going cuz uh yeah after that I made a made a quite a few few birdies. So uh yeah, I didn’t try to do too much out there. I was just obviously striking the ball well, so I kind of had an idea of where it was going and obviously could set up a lot of chances. You have tied the course record now with a 64 with England’s Marco Penge, but does it feel right and appropriate that it should be a Danish course record? Do you feel you can go lower over the weekend? Yes. I I don’t know. It’s I think the course is I would guess it’s only going to play tougher for the weekend. is going to firm up. It’s going to be probably harder to hit the fairways. Uh I’d assume the green is going to firm up and and maybe get a bit quicker. So, it’s hard to say if someone uh you know, the front line you can you can set up a lot of chances and if if you get on the run, yeah, maybe the course record will be uh will be up for grabs, but uh who knows? We’ll be keeping an eye on you, Rasmus. Thanks very much. Thanks. To watch another DP World Tour video, click here. And to subscribe, click here.
