Robert MacIntyre is on fire in Maryland, posting rounds of 62-64 to reach 14 under par overall, enough to lead his closest adversary — World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler — by five shots.
A win would mark the third of MacIntyre’s PGA Tour career, after he claimed two wins in less than two months at last year’s Canadian Open and Scottish Open.
Since then, MacIntyre has finished in the top 10 six times, including a runner-up at the U.S. Open.

In the second round of the 2025 BMW Championship, Robert MacIntyre makes birdie on the par-4 14th hole.
Scheffler, meanwhile, is looking for his 18th PGA Tour victory, and notably, his first without regular caddie Ted Scott on the bag.
MacIntyre and Scheffler will play in Saturday afternoon’s final pairing at 1:45 p.m. ET.
