Aug. 1: Friday Playday
A light field of 14 Graeagle Men’s Golf Association players took to Graeagle Meadows on a sunny Friday Aug. 1 for a Par Points game with skins. The top teams came in as follows:
First place: Paul Senft and Jeff McKenzie, 46
Second place: Chuck Hein and Mike Simpson, 35
Third place: Jim Oster and Bob Laxague, 33
Two skins were earned by the following players:
Ray Neill, with a 2 on the 12th hole
Jim Foug, with a 3 on the 17th hole

Aug. 6: Wednesday Playday
The morning started chilly but warmed up nicely for the 23 Graeagle Men’s Golf Association players who took part in the Aug. 6 Wednesday Playday. The winners in the One Ball Par 4s/Both Balls Par 3s and 5s finished as follows:
First place: Ron Eaton and Grant Mayfield, 96
Second place: Jeff Monaghan and Scott (no other information given), 100
Third place: Dan Anderson and Don Judson, 103
Two skins were earned by the following players:
Chuck Franck, with a 3 on the fifth hole
Joe Appleby, with a 2 on the ninth hole

Sixteen players and the summer heat showed up at Graeagle Meadows for the Friday Graeagle Men’s Golf Association Playday Aug. 8. The 9 and 9 game with skins produced the following winners:

Second place: Ray Neill and Paul Senft, 67
Third place: Bert Bellows and Mike Simpson, 68
