Todd Clemens looking for a second tour title and he opens up there with a birdie as well. So he climbs alongside housing in a share of second place. Here he is at the third. Got a shot at the second. Peril went from minus 2 to minus one. Oh you beauty. Lovely shot there. 194 that’s playing to the flag and that’s exactly 194 and a half. on a little left to right it looks like here. Yeah, there it goes. Off it goes. Started at the left edge of the green cutting from left to right. Stay there. Amazing that if you tried you couldn’t hit you couldn’t do that with a thousand golf ball get it to stop there. Let’s go to the fourth housing at this par five. Two par fives in the first four holes. Uhoh. The second and there’s a hazard penalty area I should say. Not a hazard. That’s long gone. Never to be seen again. That golf ball. And this is a shame. Birded the first and now it’s unraveling very quickly. It’s still a long way above his feet. Oh, that sounded like a hard contact. Oh, he got a bit of grab. That’s superb. That really is. I was concerned when I heard the bounce that that might go long, but if he gets that up and down, well, I tell you what, Jodine, two great shots here at the par five. He’s just got to be careful with this. Yeah, what a super touch. And that’s a really nice birdie four for Joe Dean. Well, it’s the third time he’s had one of these for par. And it’s the third time that he has made it as well. He won’t want to continue doing that this week on this very tough old course layout at Trump International. Can Andy Sullivan get one back? Yes, he can after that really poor start. Big big moment in his day. Grant Forest here. If he can find this green and make a birdie, he might well have a four-shot lead. This is fabulous. This really is. This is almost at this point taking real control of this championship. Clemens in trouble. Here’s Joe Dean. Puzzled looks all around here how to approach this second shot. Got to pitch it on that down slope. Joe Dean doing a stellar job there. [Applause] Now John Perry has found the green at the short path for seventh and very nearly makes an eagle two, but it will be a birdie. There can’t be many eagles here. What a second shot that was with the long line. Can he? Can he? Well, maybe not his best putt or his best read, but the I mean, he can’t believe what’s happening right now. I wouldn’t imagine when he to lead the board. He’s going to have a five shot lead. reasonable day as well. This for backto- back birdies. Yes, he’s done it. He’s going to be in a tie for second. Well, it’s two gone at least for Clemens. He’s made a real mess of this par five if he makes this. And it isn’t. It’s three gone. That is not just reverse gear. That’s foot on the brake. on Forest in for a birdie and five it is as he moves to nine under park. Long way to go yet to the seventh and Peril second. Steady. Yeah. Well played. He’s got that to move up into a tie for fourth. Guaranteed birdie for Jakob Scovison. He will move to four under par. He’s got out of jail a couple of times. [Applause] Done it again. My goodness me. That putter has been kind to him today. That’s a just a brilliant start playing with the peril. Andy Sullivan with an outside chance here at nine. Looks good. Is good right in the middle of the cup. And a nice way to finish the front line. He’s just dropped a shot at eight as Andy Sullivan. So he gets it back there at nine. Incredibly tight lie though. It’s like a compact carpet. plays his well normally. He’s got a beautiful chest turn and he’s made that look easy because it actually was easy in all honesty. Grant Forest is going to very soon move into double figures under par. That’s Oh, I thought he got that. So did he. So still looking for his first birdie of the day and he does. It’s been a very good opening. Seven holes. Just trying to get this one chasing. Well, fortunate to have any shot at all. Can he capitalize on probably the first good break? Oh, yes, please. Oh, what a recovery. You’re kidding me. That is astonishing from where he was. Now we’re hearing Eddie Pepper has reached the par five 10th in two. Richard, yes. He might as well start having a go. He’s a couple under par. He could do with a really good back nine here. Eddie Pell, no eagle. Now Clemens, what a birdie that was. Well, I mean that was a sixn net three there. How about this one, John? Oh, baller. He’s on the still. 190 to go. 190. If you can get it to the front edge, it will release. Shot of the day for me. Mikey was quite tough to watch Jordan yesterday as he sort of limped home. He was in great position, but I’m afraid it all went wrong over the back nine for him. He’s had a better day out there today. And the smile is back as well. That’s good to see. Right in at the 10th. Well, someone’s got to make a move here. Someone’s got to be a little bit aggressive and put some pressure on. That’s a good shot. That’s a cracker. And maybe it will be the final round specialist. Writen. A lot of players left this putt short. Well, that was firmly hit, wasn’t it? Beautiful. Oh, I just a walk in the park, isn’t it? Just the way he would have wanted to start the uh the back nine, isn’t it, Grant Forest? Christopher Wright to jump out of the pack of three players on four under. Round you come. Oh, surely 206 playing wind back into their faces coming off that right drawing it into this flag. That’s a lovely shot from Parry. Yes. Yes. Oh, beauty. So John Carry all of a sudden to three under par. Do well to get it out. Anytime you’re in this get it get it out is a result. It has it has come out. Oh that’s almost game over. I mean, how can you escape from there? To 13 and Allison to get to five under to move solo second. Very nicely done. Here’s John Perry. Hold a nice one at the last room off the green. This time a little more conventional. So, back to back. Oh, beg you pardon. Two birdies in three holes for Perry. He moves to four under. Trying to weather the wind here and get a face full of sand back into the breeze here for Olison. [Applause] He’s got a face full of it there, John. You’re right. Here is Forest. I mean, you can just tell with the play here. almost playing for a four. Anything within 15 ft, you’d do pretty well. Yeah, better than that even. What is that? Only six six ft or so. Really did run the gauntlet around the the edge of the bunker. Have a head to the 18th Prol for a birdie. Yeah, well done at the last 74 today. And Forest for Par. That’s brilliant, isn’t it? There’s a fist pump. He knows that he’s getting ever closer now. Good chance to look at his chipping action. Is he going to produce another beauty? Absolutely. Absolutely. [Applause] He seems to me to be a very good pressure putter. It seems that the more the pressurees there, the more he holds. There you go. That’s in that area I’m talking about. Those two right bunker in the you see the up and when we go over. Yeah. Yeah. To the 18th green and a par up here for Jodine which is pretty much second spot. Come on. That’s a decent stroke and it’s not a bad line. Get in your beauty. Well done. That is guts. That is baffle and that is a season changing pot for him right there. Well, everybody’s helping in down there. His playing partners are down there at this point. He’s very happy that the lead is six. Yes, very one shot penalty drop and still just thump it forward. He’s very comfy with these little low punchy left to right pitches. There you go. [Music] So, he will have that part to go alongside Jod Dean in a tie for second. This is the percentage play, isn’t it? Yes, he could chip this, but just keeping it nice and low to the ground. Safely done. Very good putter under pressure. Well, not to be. No. So the stage is clear for Grant Forest. His first win on the DP World Tour came on home soil and he strikes again in Scotland and Grant Forest can celebrate a fourshot victory in the Nexo Championship at Trump International and a welcome return to the winner circle after four years. Take a second and enjoy it. There’s Christie. There’s little Spencer. You don’t have a clue. Hey, daddy. Who’s your daddy? Is your daddy the best? You don’t have a clue, do you? Doesn’t make a difference. Do you Grant, congratulations. Your second DP World Tour win. This one home soil in front of a home crowd. How special is that? It’s amazing. You know, it’s just speechless. Um, you know, I think it’s actually the same week as as I won four years ago in the calendar. So, yeah, just amazing. There’s obviously something about this week and and being at home, but um yeah, it was a it was a tough day out there today. I didn’t didn’t have my best stuff at all, but you know, just made a lot of really good par saves on on the front nine and um yeah, obviously yeah, I was pretty nervous coming down the last there. There’s no way that T-shot was going right with a with a red stakes up the left. So um yeah, but yeah, just I can’t believe it to be honest. been such a such a tough year on the golf course that um yeah took it’s just a crazy game that you can come out and and do this out of out of you know what feels like out of nowhere. You say it’s been a tough year but this has turned your season around hasn’t it? Certainly has. Yeah. Yeah. you know, I was, you know, way down the rankings, you know, a couple of months ago and, you know, started to play trend a little bit better, but, you know, still at this point of the season was, you know, right right on the bubble. But, um, yeah, obviously, you know, it’s just that old that old chestnut that, you know, one week, you know, can turn things around and it sure has. Standing on the 10th T with a six shot lead though, was there any point in that back n where you thought, actually, I can enjoy this. I can relax. I think this win is in the bag. Or just tension all the way. I I had no idea. I didn’t I didn’t see a scoreboard until there’s one behind 13 between 13 and 17. So I knew, you know, got through 13 uh and 10 under and I think someday got to five and um he was a lefty so I knew those last two holes were probably a lot a little bit friendlier for him. Um you know, a different wind direction again. But um no coming off you know made made a great great saves on on 16 and 17 and obviously seen the leaderboard um going on to the 18th. I knew I knew I had a few to play with and I tried my best to use use a few of them. Your wife Christy has just been here to celebrate with you. Baby Spencer’s been taken away because he was showing a bit of interest in our microphone, wasn’t he? Uh your first win as a father. That’s also got to be pretty special, hasn’t it? H it’s so special. You know, obviously um when Spencer arrived last year, it’s you know, it’s just a big change in perspective and sort of puts golf into a bit of insignificance really. But, you know, I think it it took me it’s taken me a while to, you know, sort of get my head back in full, you know, back into the golf. And um but it’s yeah, it’s just it’s just different. and you know no matter what happened today like doesn’t make a difference to him. So um yeah but it’s been it’s just been an amazing amazing year and to get to get a win on you know before his first birthday is really special as well. He was here to watch you do it. The whole family are here to celebrate with you Grant go and enjoy the celebrations. Thank you so much. Congratulations. You deserve it. Wonderful gift. Why is DP World prepared to support a convicted criminal – Donald Trump – and play competitions at his golf clubs?
Great to see Grant get over the line! Massive boost, onwards and upwards!! Hi to Granrs uncle Derek!!!!

Trump international? Really? Have some shame…
GRANT 💰 💰 💰
I am disgusted. I am saddened as well that the game of golf, a game that espouses the very best of humanity honour, honesty, charity, generosity, integrity, kindness, and respect etc has allowed itself to be a part of what is arguably on of the worst criminals. the sickest and most toxic of human beings in the form of Donald Trump by staging a DP Tour event at his golf course. How low and callous are you to ignore, to rationalise away that which is happening, and directly affecting the world we live on and are privileged to be able to play the great game of golf on, Shame on you DP World Tour shame!
Extraordinary to win with a double bogey but he played some miraculous shots over 4 days on a really tricky course.Congrats to Joe Dean on second place😊
Please don’t play on Trumps courses! No organization should support someone who does not respect or follow the law, or the human rights of everyone. I refuse to watch or support the European tour if the play on DTs courses!
Nice to see the players actually have a difficult course for once
Scotland mate Scotland 😢😅😅.
