We are live 364 days a year. What are we doing here? If Dom turns at SummerSlam, I’m shaving my mustache off. I told you if that happens, it’s going. My lip is cold because of a stupid bet that I made to YouTube. Wrestle’s better than Daniel Bryan. Brian Daniel better than Okaublic. [Music] Good evening from Swansea, wrestling fans. I’m your host, Ben Allison, and you are watching Wrestling Republic’s daily broadcast. And we have an absolutely stacked show for you guys today. But before we get into all the topics, let me introduce the panel. Let’s kick things off with Clark Taylor. Clark, it seems since the last time we’ve been on a podcast together, you’ve suddenly become a big baby face at Wrestling Republic. Andy Glasio is now the new heel. How do you feel about that? It’s nice. It’s nice to be liked. I’ve always thought that. I’ve never really tried to be, but I mean it’s it’s working right now. So, I’m not going to jinx it. I’m not going to change anything up. We’ll see how it goes after today, though. You never know. Might say something and switch it right back. Absolutely. And after Ignasio’s absolutely outrageous take about women’s wrestling needing to have less time last week on the show, Shard has told me today that this Sunday on Sunday Funday, he is going to be hosting a best women’s wrestlers tier ranking alongside Ignasio Clark and Angie. So make sure to check that out on Sunday. But firstly, let’s deal with today. We also have Dez. How are you, Dez? I’m doing good, Ben. You know, it’s actually funny that I’m here on Wednesday because I looked back on my calendar and this is my 20th WR Daily and the first ever WR Daily I did was on Wednesday. So, I just thought that was a really funny coincidence, but we’re back at it again. We got a fun one at the end. Wrestling all day. WWE, AEW, we’re going to war. Let’s get to it. Absolutely. And also I am absolutely loving the American Dragon Brian Danielson you up on as well. Shout out to Yeah, hopefully we see him back sooner rather than later because you know WWE want him uh to come back there too with the yes chance and all that. But AEW is currently where he is at. But up first, we have got to talk about this WWE situation because of course, All Elite Wrestling have had their allout pay-per-view scheduled for almost a year now. And last minute, WWE have reportedly scheduled a main roster PL to go head-to-head with it. Now, WWE haven’t officially announced this yet, but there’s multiple reports about it, and they have also critically not denied it when being being asked about it as well. Now, of course, you at Wrestling Republic, we are spoilerfree, but what I will say is some big matches are being rumored for this event. This isn’t an NXT show. It will be a big big deal. And to go up against AEW so late, head-to-head, you have to think this is deliberate. It is almost certainly right. They’ve been scheduling NXT events against every single AEW pay-per-view this year, and it’s been a huge failure for WWE. So, guess what? Now, they’re trying to put the main roster against it. Clark, what’s your thoughts? Oh, I love it. It’s hilarious to me. It goes back to the original Wednesday Night Wars. all of this. The Monday Night Wars, the original original, I love when this kind of stuff happens cuz it’s fun to talk about. The only thing I don’t love about it is I want to watch both shows. It messes me up every time. If we could get the same weekend and make it a big wrestling extravaganza, I’m all over that. Then you can compare the head-to-head numbers. But putting them on top of each other, it is a little bit self-sabotage when it comes to the entire industry. So, I understand being frustrated by that. But a weekend full of great wrestling, I’m never going to fully complain about. So, at the same time, it is what it is. And I like the competition. I like that they obviously are aware of each other, whether they’re sending veiled shots on the microphone or veiled shots with booking dates. Both companies are very obviously in competition in some regard, whether it be petty competition or not. I mean, I completely do agree with you there, Clark. And the one thing which I really can’t get my head around, though, is why from WWE’se’s perspective, this is good business. I mean, AEW pay-per-views tend to get around 70 to 90,000 buys, right? I reckon maybe 10 to 15,000 of those fans will watch the WWE event instead. So, yes, you are harming AEW, but at the same time, I reckon they’re going to lose more fans than that to watch the AEW show because I do think the AEW paying fan base is more loyal than the WWE streaming one. So, I actually think this is going to hurt them more than it hurts EW. In fact, if I was Netflix, if I was Peacock, if I was whoever has the tape library in whatever country, I would be fuming at WWE right now because you’re basically sabotaging them. They gave you the money expecting you’d bring in PL numbers and now you’re just going into a random rivalry with another promotion when it’s not really going to benefit anything. Yeah, it’s one of those things too where uh you just would hope that WWE is sitting there like, “No, we’re not even paying attention. We just happen to pick that date.” It’s it’s a coincidence. That’s what I would hope is not the case. Not like that would just be but that’s what I mean is like someone might claim that if asked about it. I’m like please don’t allow that to happen cuz it it probably will. Like that’s coming next. That’s going to be the next headline. Like so and so claims that they weren’t even paying attention. like, “No, no, we know what it is. Admit it and do something about it.” I I I that part of it is intriguing. It’s entertaining to me. It’s part of the business. So, yeah, it is a competitive business and I I don’t have an issue with it in that regard. Is it petty? Yes. Multiple things can be true at once. So, it’s like, yeah, but here’s the thing. It It’s petty, but it’s stupid business. It would be good business if it was actually going to hurt AW and almost put them out of business. But AEW is miles away from WWE. It’s not like they’re catching up at a rapid speed or anything like that. They are miles away. And quite frankly, AEW are creating multiple young stars who will probably jump to WWE and become high earnest there, too. I really think this is like the dumbest move for the TKO ERA so far. It’s really silly. It is, especially even compared to what we saw allin weekend. The irony of that. That was that was an epic fail. Right. That’s what I mean. For you to say it’s the it’s the worst decision yet. I’m like remember that one was not that long ago. It’s like it’s kind of wild. They they just chopped it right away. But I’m in agreement, Ben. I I think you’re spot on. Ignasio, the new main heel at Wrestling Republic, says they just signed a multi-billion dollar contract with ESPN. Call it petty or not risking a little bit of money, but it shows how garbage AEW will be, how embarrassing it is, and how low rent is worth it. I mean, I’m going to be honest, AEW pay-per-views have been knocking WWE’se’s out of the water for the last year and a half. And like I said, I tend to prefer the WWE product to the AEW product. I’m more of an entertainment guy over a pure wrestling guy. And even I can say that very comfortably. I’m in agreement there, man. 100%. It’s, you know, me, I’m kind of closer to the middle on that one because I I really enjoy AW. I like the idea of a challenger brand. I like rooting for underdogs. So, at the same time, I’m not I don’t even love necessarily comparing the two. They don’t have to be the same. They’re just in the same space, right? Yeah. It’s like you can like both Coke and Pepsi. Most people don’t, though. Yeah. And I’d honestly say they’re more different. Uh AEW and WWE are more different than Coke and Pepsi are cuz they taste similar. I think they’re both wrestling companies, but they’re two pretty different genres. Uh Ignasio is just taking cheap shots that in the comments. I’m not even going to read that out. Fernando says WWE comes off super petty here. Abdu says WWE is just pathetic. A lot of fans aren’t liking this and I think it is a huge mistake. But Dez, more importantly, what do you think about this? So, I actually there’s three things I want to bring up. The first thing is I feel like WWE is putting if this was rumored to happen, they’re putting the main roster against Don’t put Oh, sorry. I thought you were going to spoil a match there. No, no. I said rumored mean like I don’t know if this is going to happen. Sorry. Sorry. I thought you were going in a different direction. No, no, no, no. It’s okay. I’m not. Trust me, we are spoiled and free at Wrestling Republic. I got you. Don’t worry. What I was going to say is I think WWE is really upset about the fact that Allin went longer than expected. So knowing how petty WWE has been with AEW, this is kind of WWE saying, “All right, Tony Khan, you want to run Hangman and John Moxley during Saturday Night Main Event. Okay, cool. We’re going to have so and so be the biggest star of the night and we’re going to face you at All Out.” And then also, I don’t know if this is going to be the rumored pay-per-view or not, but just because at the same time last year, let’s say they run Bad Blood, right? I think it actually makes a lot of sense for them to do that because there’s a lot of feuds in WWE that could use that. You know what I mean? But I’m not exactly sure if that’s what they’re going to do because nothing’s been confirmed yet. And then I agree with you, Clark. I really like the idea of having two challenger brands against against each other. It just seems like WWE knows how good AEW’s pay-per-views have been this year that they ultimately just want to put them out of business as fast as they can. And I agree with Ben because you got to focus on your own product. Why are you caring about a product that is I mean I like AW a lot, but let’s be honest, right? WWE is miles better in terms of his, you know, histo uh impact and whatnot and entertainment. So why is WWE focusing so much on AEW? AEW has like this little, you know, it has its loyal fans. It has that fan base and they’re having a great time. They’re not worried about what’s going on in WWE. They’re focused on what they have. Even if it’s 10,000, if even if it’s 5,000 people, it doesn’t matter. They’re not going to get out of the park every single time. And they’re not forcing anything. So again, competition’s great, but I just don’t know if this is the right move for WWE. I completely agree with you, and you mentioned it, too. Of course, Saturday night’s main event, they put it against it. And again, that was WWE’se’s decision. That wasn’t an AEW call to go head-to-head with them. WWE tried to take them down there. It was an epic failure for WWE across all metrics that we are aware of. It was down. Did it maybe hurt AEW a little bit too? Sure, very possible. But it hurt WWE significantly. And I think this will be yet another mistake and a mistake that doesn’t make sense. DCX Warlord TKO only cares about the money, not the fans or the talent. Fernando says dividing the wrestling audience and cutting your earrings, your earnings makes no sense by W. Definitely don’t cut your earrings. That could be dangerous. That would be dangerous. Don’t do that. I hope neither company cuts their earrings. Don’t give Derby Allen any ideas. Do you know he would do someone like that? Imagine just a bunch of lowless wrestlers running around. Yeah. Van Orton get his screwdriver out again match against Jeff Hardy. Oh no. The gnarliest one was Sami Zayn in the Intercontinental title triple threat with Jeff and AJ Styles. That’s an underrated pandemic match handcuffing Jeff Hardy to the ladder through his plug. Oh, I forgot about that. That was brutal. Yeah, that was one of the best Sami Zayn spots I’ve ever seen. Was that 2021 that happened or It would have been It was Thunderdome for 2020. 2020. Okay. That’s why I don’t remember. 2020 and 2021. That was kind of like hit or miss with WWE. That was that was heel Sammy winning in a ladder match against two of the best ladder match stars of all time. It was actually one of the best uh around that time too. Shan says WWE are on balls for this. And Angie says it feels like they are trying to make RAW is war with AEW and catch lightning in a bottle again with it. That is true, but the difference is they are nowhere near as close, nowhere near and also I don’t really think that can be duplicated again. And I don’t think the audiences when stuff is on demand a lot more nowadays like used to be able to DVR it and stuff but even still I don’t think you can recapture that with streaming. Yeah, I agree with that. I I think it’s interesting with streaming because again, time slots go away. So, I think that’s a very good point. I think you can recapture though the intensity of the rivalry. I don’t think that’s out of the question, right? And I think there’s a difference there. I think you can recapture the intensity of the rivalry. You’ll you’ll never recapture the Wait a minute. Both of the companies are on Monday at 8:00. That’s the same time, right? That’s the same time. It’s crazy. That’s not going to happen again to that extent. I don’t think with the way with the direction things are headed streaming wise and whatnot. But um I do think competition is is healthy for both companies. 100%. I agree. It’s healthy. And Donnie says America is a capitalist country and and people made that a big corporation and people are mad that a big corporation is acting capitalistic. Yeah. But the difference is they are not on levels close enough and to you know justify the harm that it is doing to WWE when genuinely this will probably do more harm to WWE. They’ll probably lose more viewers than AEW lose purely because the AEW viewership is less and more hardcore. So it just doesn’t make sense. I really if I genuinely peacock obviously WWE aren’t going to lose any money because the deals are already in place but if I was Netflix let’s say in the international market I would be absolutely fuming right now you are paying those big numbers and you are losing numbers just so WWE can go at a competition who is nowhere near close to them. Yeah. It’s a it’s it’s a little bit like a giant English Premier League game trying being like, “We’re going to go headto-head with the MLS. Watch this.” Yeah. Exactly. You’re like, “Okay, dude. Chill. We’ll just blow it out of the water.” Yeah. Don’t worry about this. And then what happens if Exactly. And then what happens if MLS gets over the Premier League? Right. In that scenario, then it’s like never happen. Well, I know. I’m just throwing it out there. There’s always a not going to get over. Hey, a guy can dream, Dez. Exactly. A guy can’t dream. But let’s now move on. We have some more news from All Elite Wrestling because Kazuchica Okada is now the longest reigning champion in the history of AEW. That is right. He is now held at first it was the Continental Championship. Now it’s the uh Oh, what’s it now? The uh undisputed championship I think it is. No, not is it undisputed unify? Unifi unified. That’s the word. I always say undisputed. That was what I was thinking. The unified championship. Basically, he’s held this belt for so long, done really little with it. Had three or four really great matches, but somehow this is now longer than any other reign. This is longer than Tony Storm’s reign. This is longer than Kenny Omega’s reign. This is longer than MJF’s reign. And for all those reigns, I can name at least half a dozen big matches, big storylines even. I’ll go that far and say that for Kazuchi Okada, I mean, honestly, it’s one or two. The rain has been booked absolutely terribly. And I’m a big Okarda guy, but Clark, this just hasn’t hit for me at all. So, I’m in agreement, but I actually think this whole talking about it being the longest reign now that we’re here is a positive because I agree it’s not been booked very well thus far, but we know that stats are important in pro wrestling. I mean, look at John Cena picking up 17 is a giant deal. Could he potentially win the Grand Slam and win the IC title on the way out? Maybe. I don’t know. But stats do matter. I mean Ric Flair 16 time all the way back to Booker T five time five time five time WCW champion like it it stats matter. Announcing that he’s the longest reigning champion in AEW history makes the matches for this title matter more. And I’m hoping that we get to a point now over the next few encounters that Okata has where it’s like shoot when is he finally going to lose it? And those are good stories to tell and quality stories to tell. And I think we can sort of make up for the fact that the rain was so long. I was stunned by this because John Moxley carrying the world down on the briefcase felt like an eternity. So even though obviously Okatada’s been holding his for longer, I was actually just stunned by that alone. I think that one was booked worse so it felt longer. But either way, those are my thoughts, man. I mean, honestly, I don’t know. You are right. It’s something they can at least say about Okarda now, right? It is some value they can bring to it that way. But like Shard’s saying in the comments here, Okarda is not the same guy at all. It is not the same one. It’s a garbage title. Reign. I I mean I I there’s been good matches throughout. I don’t think the title has been elevated. My hope would be that this statistic elevates the title. That’d be my hope. That’s not what I’m saying is the case. That’s not I would agree with that. Framing it through a positive lens. Donnie says, “Doesn’t it feel like Tony Khan is such a huge Okarda fan that he refuses to have him lose even when it makes sense?” Yes, I think that’s very spot on. 100%. Yeah, absolutely. I will say this on that. I think Oka I sorry I think Omega was meant to be Okada but obviously there was a couple of you know I think when he stepped back in the ring there was maybe a little bit of an injury or something cuz he’s off again now. I don’t think he was as back to 100% as he’s thought he was going to be. So I do think Omega was meant to beat him and that’s to be honest the only person who he’s feuded with where it would make sense for him to lose. But that again brings us back to the point he’s not been in any real high-profile feuds. They’re just not booking him in any. They’re not telling any big stories with him. Yeah, it’s it’s I mean, other than the Kenny story, basically. Exactly. That was the best one yet. Um Yeah, man. This is I wish I had more to add. I’m like, I don’t I don’t I just I don’t love it either. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. It really doesn’t. Fernando says, “I think Okarda’s title reign is a little bit better than you guys are saying.” I mean, fair enough. If you enjoyed it more, I hope you’re all right. And I do also agree, Fernando. I hope that the swer feud will change and improve his title reign. It’ll be a banger. It will be a banger. I am excited for it. That is for sure. DCX Warlords as Eddie Kingston needs to return soon. I’m hoping so. I’ve missed him on TV. I will say if they want to make this championship as important, make the TNT championship the third most important, right? really elevate this championship up because the way I look at this title reign is it’s great matches, right? You had Buddy Matthews, you had Osprey, right? You had you had Pac at one point, you had Omega and they’re great, but it’s like they do this whole Continental Classic and I love the Continental Classic. I’ve been saying that forever. It’s just when you win when you win it, it’s just kind of like, okay, I’m the Continental Champion now. I got to wait all the way till December until it’s important again. And I feel like that’s not the way you should do it. really make this a premier championship. That’s why when Orange Cassidy was a champion, he was the unsung hero of it because he’s like, “Oh yeah, he’s winning. Oh yeah, he’s winning. Oh, wow. Wow, he told it that long.” And then they had the main event allow him and Mox, they got to capture that same magic here. Hopefully with this statistic they have now and the swerve against Swerve, the feud with Swerve Strickland at Forbidden Door, they got to make this feel important because it’s three championships in one. Like you can’t put that much stock in a championship that’s just going to be shoved away. You just can’t do it. I absolutely do agree with you there. You are not wrong. DCX has enough time has passed. Kingston had a better Continental Championship reign than Okada. And I mean what it was like 16 of this title reign. They got rid of the title. It’s a whole new belt. No, the the lineages still count. I mean the lineage count. I get it. Count the basket. Tony Khan made that one clear. But up next, guys, I need to ask you guys to subscribe to Wrestling Republic Under. It’s our second channel. There’s clips, there’s more content over there. Please subscribe if you haven’t already. And a cheap plug, but please make sure to go and subscribe to the Allison Analysis YouTube channel as well. Every Tuesday I review Raw in 10 minutes and onto your thoughts which you guys have submitted to us via the Wrestling Republic broadcast channel. And then on Saturdays I do the same for Smackdown. But up next, let’s talk about Carrie and Cross. We’ve talked a whole lot about Carrie and Cross over the last couple of weeks. Is he leaving? Is he staying? Well, he now has left as we found out on Monday. But he has revealed in his documentary a really interesting pitch that originally Bray Wyatt wanted him alongside the Righteous in WWE to be part of an extended Wyatt 6. And I found this one really really fascinating and I would have loved to see it happen. But there is something which is quite interesting here and that is that currently the righteous are now free agents as well. They have left AEW. They have left Ring of Honor. they are available to sign. Now, I don’t think this is a work, but even if it isn’t, could they turn it into one and bring Carrie and Cross back alongside the Righteous and do the storyline which Bray Wyatt envisioned? After all, I forgot the guy’s name, but Bray Wyatt’s writer is still there in WWE. He would have known what the plan was. He would have made those plans alongside Bray Wyatt. Dez, I’d love to get your thoughts. I will say the idea in the pitch is very interesting because it’s something we’ve never seen before and with the new partnership with Triple A wait no WWE buying Triple A and TNA being a partnership this could potentially happen. My problem with this is I just I just don’t see it to be honest with you. If the Righteous is going to go anywhere I feel like it’ll probably TNA and even then how many times is Carrie and Cross going to be in the stable? It just seems like every time we get this guy, he’s in a stable with somebody and then they just go through the same process where the stable is like, “Okay, they do a sneak attack and then they do these promo, they do these vignettes and then they lose and they’re never taken serious again.” Like, I just don’t know how many times you can keep doing the same thing over and over again. Is the idea appealing? Of course it is because it’s not never been done before and it would be a great idea to showcase and, you know, how should I say, uh, a bit more respect to Bray Wyatt because he’s the one that came up with the idea. or for WWE and TNA to go that route. I think it’d be really cool if they do if they did that, but I just I just don’t see it happening. I really don’t. What do you guys think? Yeah, I do agree with you there, Dez. I can’t see it, but I would love it at the same time. I mean, Clark, what about you? I find something really interesting about his last match in WWE against Sami Zayn. And then he immediately releases a documentary and we didn’t get the one we really wanted, which is the conspiracy documentary against Sami Zayn. Release the dock, WWE. We know you have it somewhere in that vault. Release it. Release the real documentary. I’ve been begging for years. I No. Release Pretty Deadly the musical. I don’t care about this documentary. What I’m saying though is I don’t know. It is interesting if it was a work. This whole thing is a work, which I don’t think it is at this stage, but if it was, the documentary for documentary thing would have been hilarious if he could have played on that somehow as a callback. I I don’t know. There’s something there. There’s Steam there somewhere. That’s somewhere perhaps. Say in the comments says, “I wouldn’t trust WWE to write that story line due to the fact they messed up John Cena’s heel turn.” I mean, you’re not wrong there, are you? But I reckon they could do it if they put the right thought into it. Donnie says, “I told Clark my booking plan for Karion. He shows up in TNA, maybe with the Righteous, but still under WWE contract, and constantly buries them. He targets Trick as a backdoor return to WWE. I would love that. That would be brilliant.” The issue is a real fascinating conversation about that. It he’s right. It’s a great idea the way he laid out the booking. Sorry, I didn’t mean to cut you off there. No, but I agree. It’s a great idea, but the issue is he’s currently on podcast still just talking about how much he loves WWE. I mean, he’s like half complaining about his contract offer, next sentence, begging for his job back, saying he loves them. So, I that’s why I really don’t think it’s a work at this point because they’re going so hard into him basically trying to get his job back. I just don’t buy it. say he says that would be a good idea but it would be relegated to NXT but it would bring some more eyes to NXT so I wouldn’t have a problem with that plus established trick uh trick flare trick Williams instead no trick flare you got whoop that trick that trick flare that needs to be his new gimmick the ultimate gimmick he brings out every Halloween Jay Lethal’s done it before you how Jay Luta was woo wing. You could run that same angle. He was an man, wasn’t it? Yeah, he was. But he did flare, too. He started Oh, he did do Flair, right? Remember they had the Woo Off? Yeah, they had the Woo off. They had the Wu off. You remember Ric Flair took all his clothes off and elbow dropped the ground. Oh, wow. The most iconic clips in the history. I haven’t actually seen that. I think it was Oh, no. You need If you’ve never seen the Jayleth Ric Flair woo off, Ben, your whole life will be changed. We call the cleanest elbow he drops just dead. and starts taking his shirt off, his pants off, his kicks his shoes. He’s yelling, “Woo!” into the microphone, and then he struts into an elbow, drops the elbow right on the canvas, pops up like nothing happened, and then yells at Jay Lethal. How about that, and Jay Lethal just woos back? Yep, that is amazing. It’s one of the best TNA clips I’ve seen of It’s great. DCX Warlord says the writers also want to work with Elijah. That would be a lot of fun. And Donnie says constantly saying he wants to get his job back and not getting it is the reason to go off burying WWE with a broken heart. That now that would be great. Hopefully you are right. I really do hope so. Talking about huge pop, talking about Donnie Dilva. Make sure on the Wrestling Republic YouTube channel later today, you check out the interview which they did with Drew McIntyre, he talks CM Punk’s karma, he talks Logan Paul, he talks the state of WWE, and he talks WWE Unreal as well. Make sure to check it out. A really, really great interview will be uploaded today. Not even going to plug my appearance on Huge Pop. Nope. Just Drew. Not even not me. Week the same day. It was the same day. A week away. There it is. Next Wednesday. Next Wednesday. I’m on that one. Shoot. I think so. Yeah. Um, but nice shirt says Jos Marowitz. Thanks. ASO. But up next, we have a little bit of a fun segment planned because we are creating a Mount Rushmore of current wrestlers who don’t look like wrestlers. I’m going to go first and I’m going to go with Dominic Mysterio because he looks like he works in a gardening center. Clark, what about you? I’m going to make my first pick. Roman Reigns as Jason Mimoa stunt double. I think this is an obvious one here. I think it’s the perfect first pick out of the gates. Easy, easy work casting wise and I think we’re dialed in. That’s actually gold. I’ll give you that. That is great. TZ, what about you? All right, I’m going to go with Wheeler Uda acting as an Ewok from Star Wars. Pardon? An Ewok. You know, like the little creature. Who? Sorry, who? Wheeler Uda. Oh, Wheeler UT. Sorry, you broke up with me. You just Ewok isn’t a job. That’s a fictional bear. That’s what I was telling y’all. That’s what I was saying. It’s not a job. That’s what I was saying. Ewok. They have their own community. They have jobs within the community. Yeah. Being an Ewok itself isn’t a job. An Ewok is a fictional bear. That’s what I was saying. Like just go with it. So, I was like, “Okay, is a job.” I know. That’s why I was telling you guys. I was like, “This isn’t a real job.” But he walks out the door and is like, “Sorry, honey. I had to go clock in for my long day as an Ewok.” Looks like one. You can’t tell me he doesn’t. The hair, the beard. I think he could play as first. We weren’t just giving them animal comparisons. Like I said, I I I did tell you guys, I’m like, “Look, this is a fake job.” All right. Maybe leader of the Ewoks. Well, I mean, being an Ewok, Ewoks have jobs. They’re not organized. If you’ve seen the movies, I have. What is a definition of an animal? A living organism that feeds on a Yes. Okay, fair enough. This is a fictional animal. That I I told you guys that. Like I said, this isn’t a real animal. I know. I know. I told you. Anyway, Clark, you are actually on tonight’s episode, but that part of it you are going to have to check out over on Huge Pop Radio’s website, which you guys can access through the WrestlingRublic website. Make sure to check that out. wrestlingrepreublic.com. Head to the hugepop radio section of it and click on the full audio version to hear what Clark has to say. But it is me once again. Now, my list has disappeared. Oh no, here it is. up next. No, I’m not. It’s not me again. It’s a snake draft. What am I doing? Dez, back to you. All right, I have a Kazushka Okada. He looks like a weatherman. Pardon? A weatherman. As a weatherman. Yeah, he I mean he is the rain maker, so like you know in Japan. Well, hey, did I joke? That was a jokeception there, but I get it. I wouldn’t say it looks like one, but the Rain Maker reference makes sense. That’s That’s kind of why I went I told you I was like scrambling to get I was I was working. That was tough there. Yeah, cuz I was like originally I had him Yakuza leader and I’m like wait a minute. Rain Maker Weatherman that sounds funny so I’m going to go with that. What about you clock? That’s golden. I’m gonna go with Ludwig Kaiser as a Spanish teacher. my next pick because you always get the Spanish teacher that’s not necessarily from Spain or Mexico, but they speak perfect Spanish and Ludwig’s got the accent. So, it makes it even harder cuz you’re trying to learn English to Spanish. Basically exactly what my high school Spanish teacher looked like, too. Like the same guy. Totally Eastern European guy with an Eastern European accent. I barely can like I’m not learning anything language wise. You’re right. One of my Spanish teachers was French and the other one was Welsh. So yeah, they’re never from Spain, are they? Never. Never. If you get one from Spain, I swear I a lot more people would learn Spanish. Yeah, I had a Spanish teacher from Nigeria. I don’t even know how that makes it easy. That is awesome. Wild. I was like, okay, let’s go. I’m up next and I’m going to take Kevin Owens as a wrestling YouTuber. I mean, he does just look like one, doesn’t he? Looks like he’d be doing this podcast with us. Honestly, yeah. The different shirts he wears every time. That’s actually really good. That’s a good one. At first, I was kind of like, huh, I don’t know if I see it. Now I see it. I can see it. Yeah. Literally, he looks He literally looks exactly like one. There’s multiple who look like him. Clark, you’re back up. I’m gonna go with the butcher as a butcher. [Music] I mean, yeah. I feel like that’s pretty solid, right? Yeah, it works. Feel like that’s a good pick. Am I wrong? Butcher is a butcher. The blade is a blade. I don’t know how you could be a blade, but you could be a blade. Maybe he just is a blade. I’ve actually messed this up. I I didn’t take my second pick, so I’ll I’ll edit it in before in the clip. Don’t worry. I’m gonna take Zack Sabre Jr. as a maths teacher. I love Zack Saber Jr., but he looks literally just like he’s teaching maths to like high school kids or something. Looks like complete nerd. That’s a good one. That’s a really good one. I like that. He could teach technical math cuz he’s a technical wrestler. That’s I don’t know what technical math is. I don’t know either exactly. I’m just You said it with such confidence, Dez. I completely bought it was a thing. I don’t even like Of course. I know technical math, you know. Of course. But Dez, you’re up next. All right. I have Clauddio Cassie Agnoli as an stunt double for Jason Stathithm. Feel like that could work. Oh, that’s actually a really good one. He’s also going stunt double. Yes. Yep. There you go. See, that’s fair. Him and Roman Reigns, they could be stunt doubles. That’s fair. Perfect. I’ll give him that one. I mean, it it works. It actually work. That’s actually like a legit one. That was one I actually put thought in. I’m like, you know what? I could see him being in a shark movie. You know, just like Jason Stadium. But, uh, there’s quite a few comments. We’ll read them out once we get done the list. Don’t worry. But there’s your backup again. All right. This one I’ve always thought of for a while. I have Eddie Kingston who looks like a mechanic. Fair point. I’ve always thought that for the longest time. Yeah, that’s one I’ve always thought. Can’t no arguments there, but bang on the money pretty much. Clark, what is your final pick? I’ve never been more excited. I got my pick. I am taking Cody Rhodess as a shady politician. Nobrainer. Easy work right there. Absolutely. Cody Rhodess, shady politician for my final pick to round it out. I’m so excited about my squad. I knew you were going to say that. I was waiting for it. I’m like, how is co what is Clark going to say for Cody Rose today? At first, I was thinking like a legal politician. I was thinking like a cheerleader or something. Shady politician. He’s a shady shady blackhanding political monster. There you go. Oh, and last but not least, I’ll take Chris Jericho, who does crypto but is actually just unemployed. Um, yeah, that’s what I’ll I’ll leave that one at. Crypto, bro. Damn. Hey, that is more of a job than an Ewok. That’s true. Hey, look. Ewok went round one as well, which is the best part. Hey, I was really I was like I did tell y’all. I was like, you know what? I know. I If you were going to do that, you should have taken I’ll take Brian Danielson as a dragon. Yeah, but that’s not that’s not funny. That’s not funny. I’ve always said Wheeler Uda looks like an Ewok. Like he he just has like you can’t he can’t even see where he’s going. He could be Chewbacca maybe. I don’t know. Has a lot of hair. Not a job. Oh, sorry guys. I’m super busy today. I got to go clock in to be an Ewok for 4 hours. I mean, yeah, man. Pay me minimum wage. Maybe for Disneyland to Disney. There you go. And really just doesn’t dress up. He just shows. I’m just glad you said Ewok and not Wookie. Ewok with a Wookie makes sense actually, but I just start with an Ewok. If you were going to go Wookie, then that would have to be like a hairier person. Yeah, that’s what I mean. There’s only hairy in his face. Yeah, there’s another Joker comment by Donnie. I’m not reading that one out. Donnie the Silva says a shady mechanic. Uh about uh about Eddie Kingston. Fair enough. Will Osprey’s Doctor Who says DCX? No, that’s Zach Saver Jr. Zack Saver Junior’s Doctor. Doctor Who go on. JT Matteo as a professional bowler is hilarious. Yeah, I saw that. I could actually see. So spot on. All I can think is pin. Damn, the comments were You guys were quick, man. I was struggling. I was at work working my other job shopping for like some person named like Mrs. Smith. And I was like, “Okay, what does Darby Allen look like while I’m doing my shop?” Definitely not an email. DCX Warlord as Josh Alexander hockey coach Derby Allen Tony Storm Golden EA actress and I don’t know if we can count that cuz that is the only thing I regret is I was so going to go butcher as a butcher and then Dr. Britt Baker as a dentist just to be the worst person ever. Yeah, it works like a dentist though does she? No, but she is one. So that would be the argument. He also doesn’t look like one of those had gone like a wrestler nor a dentist. I I know Josh he’d much rather be a basketball coach. Although that’s hilarious. I will say no. It makes sense. I’ll say this cuz I had it on the list. I had as a figure skater. I feel like he’d be a great figure skater. He’s very tall. He would crack the ice. Have you ever been ice skating? Dude, I feel like doing a split. Come on. I I could see it. I could see the vision. That’s unbelievable. That’s the most absurd one I’ve heard yet. Toa as a figure skater maybe. Omas though, man. Oh, I had him at the sinker too. Opera singer. I had a lot of these Maxine Dri I think is the only one who might be all right at figure skating based on like the locks of per people. Yeah, that’s No way. Omos cannot figure skates. No, he can’t. He looks less like a wrestler than flipping Kevin Owens looks like a wrestler. I think he’s talking about the Rockefeller tree, but either way, the Christmas tree. Oh man, I also had a Sheamus as a bartender. That was another one I had too. Oh, that’s a good one. I mean, yeah, that’s Yeah, fair point on that. On that note, guys, does bring us to the end of the show. Thank you, Clark. Thank you, Dez. And thank you most importantly to everybody watching at home and in the comments.
