The PGA TOUR’s BMW Championship returns to Caves Valley Golf Club, where the TOUR’s best will see an extensively renovated layout. Scottie Scheffler continues to lead the way in the FedExCup standings and padded his position on top after finishing T3 in Memphis, Scheffler’s 14th top-10 finish in 17 events so far in 2025. Rory McIlroy, currently ranked No. 2 in the standings, returns to action for his first start of the 2025 FedExCup Playoffs. Joining them is Justin Rose who is looking to go back-to-back in the FedExCup Playoffs after his impressive playoff win over J.J. Spaun in Memphis. Other players to watch competing in Maryland include Ludvig Åberg, Xander Schauffele, Viktor Hovland, and Justin Thomas. Ryder Cup U.S. Team Captain Keegan Bradley will have a close eye on the field while he competes, as this is also the final week for hopefuls to try to automatically qualify for the U.S. Team to compete in the Ryder Cup this September, with the top six in the points standings after the BMW Championship automatically on the squad.

He has 106 left. Tough fairway to hit. There’s so much slope from right to left. Lowry worked it up against the slope. [Applause] JT Poston, the last man in the field playing uh first group out. Oh, hello. eighth. Xander Schoffley, who’s had a pretty rough start, but a good drive here. Nice slope a little bit long and right of the hole. We saw that from Michael Kim’s ball. No need to use a slope for Shawley. Setting up like he wants to play a cut shot in. Well done. We’ve seen some great club slush here. There’s virtually no wind. This ball should be dancing around the hole. [Music] Oh, it did a waltz around the hole. Very well done by Sheffler. I want Ben Griffin. Really good year. Number seven on the list coming in this par three third 184. Yeah. And a real chance to prove himself that he should be on this team. If he plays well this week, he could make the team on points. Birdie one, Birdie three, number one in the FedEx Cup race. He’ll take that into next week as well. Birdie one and this at two. Yeah. Well, he’s showing no signs of slacking here. Sheffer and Victor Havlin taking dead aim at this back left hole location. A beauty there from Havland. He’s right underneath the hole. Beautiful golf swing here from Harris English. One of the prettiest on tour. Starts on a wonderful line. Yeah, super shot. Good opportunity to get the bogey made. Now over at the ninth, Ashe Batia. Rough start for Oshay. Projected 29th. Now that’ll help. That’ll definitely help. Yeah, and Zander is one of those guys and Matt talked about this earlier. If he can just find a way to make it to East Lake, he loves that golf course. We see Nick Taylor from the middle of another fairway here at 10. And another great approach shot. He and Michael Chrommy adjust Cromy’s targets. You know, Scotty looks a little close for the hole. Havland at 12. Yes. I don’t think he thought that went in. another good shot. FedEx Cup champs in the field this week, including this man back in 2023. Par 516th, his third the approach. Watch the use of the slope here. Little bit of a spin and now it picks up that hillside. Players can’t see the bottom of the cup from there. He knows from the crowd’s reaction that’s close. Ricky Fowler a share of six last week to move on. Was outside the top 50. Moved inside to earn a spot this week. Gets that one to fall in there. Very very popular player having a chance to win. Par three third hole plays dramatically downhill. 184 actual to that front right and that is some great distance control right there. What a great shot from Fleetwood. Victor Hoblin has a chance to grab the lead all to himself here on 17 green. A little uphill in the beginning and then downhill the second half. Doesn’t matter when it goes in the middle. Victor races out to three under par and looking get all the way into the single digits with backto back birdies. That’s the volatility you’ll have all week here in Caves Valley. something towards the half second part of the season here where he’s hooked up with Mark Blackburn, a new coach. Oberg at the second. Yeah, coming off a good week in Memphis, ninth. Play played well in the Scottish. So, he’s just getting started as the here at the eighth. Chris Got up second. He’s had a great run the last 10, 11 weeks or so. Three over today, though. Tough start and a big week for right at it. What a shot. Yeah, that’s an elevated green. He He can’t tell where that ball is. Short time to go at 14. Russell Henley for birdie. Another one of the good par4s out here. This hole location way in the back. It’s a pretty flat area where the hole is. That’s a nice one to kind of grab. Well positioned. He was 10th before the putt into ninth now. Harris English missed the green at 13. So, this is a long parave. Yeah. And it’s a quick one as well. Is it quick enough? Save. Wow. Is that any good this for par for Jason Day at 12? Yeah. About twothirds of the way this putt starts to work down the hill. It’s a tough read. It’s one of those that gets left. It kind of stays left. Trying to come back. Oh, and it does. What a par there after missing the fairway. Some of the inconsistencies with the misses with the driver this year for Sheffller. Daniel Burgerer. Yes. Cooking up a little something as Burger curls one home. That’s back to back birdies as he makes the turn. This is from the fairway at seven. Morawa. This will give us an answer right here. I think spin control might be a part of the game here after the rain. Morcala dialed in. Impressive. Back here at 17. Maverick McNeely trying to get back to even par. Yeah, before the rain. This would have been a really quick from right here to the rest of the way down to the hole. Quick, it didn’t matter. Maverick as much slope as tilt in this green from front to back. Yeah, Tommy Fleetwood with the iron. Such a great iron player. Loves to work it in there from right to left and gives himself another opportunity for a birdie. Par five, 16th. Only two par fives here. Got to take advantage. Absolutely. He does it with a beautiful wet shot. This to share for Jason Day of 14. Just a little bit down the hill. Good break to the right. Knew it. He knew it from the right side of the fairway. Water all the way down this hole. He likes to cut it. So, this could be a good shape for this back right hole location. Oh, it’s going to get over that little ridge. Come on, Daniel. Great shot at what was You may be losing something from a guy that gained some form. Rose throws at seven. This thing right at this flag stick, guys. Wow. Where Sam Burns has this birdie putt. And we’ve seen this a few times. It’s a little downhill overall. It should break just a little right. Well, that just straightened right out. That is such a good read to grab the lead. Look at where he’s aimed. He’s playing 12 ft a break, man. Now he’s going to get a good look at it. Get to the hole. Get to the hole. Oh my. Wow. It’s the putt of the day. That is it ever. Amazing. A beautiful look here. Magnificent golf course at Caves Valley. It’s majestic looking, isn’t it? Isn’t it gorgeous? And what a gorgeous iron by Justin Rose. Just a relentless competitor. Amazing. Seaw Kim now third shot 33rd in red. Remember red bad, green good. That’s great. Hold it from off the green. That’s good, too. And that will certainly help things. Let’s see where he goes. In good shape here at 11. Another layup off the T, but just a sand wedge for him on his second shot. There should be some spin here. Yeah, here we go. Oh, yeah. Boy, how good is that? That close to three under par. You know what what Bones just said, Terry, that means it’s not going to break two different ways like so many putts. Just slightly right to left. Looks good. Work to do number 40. Leaving the flag stick in. Maybe good reason to. Keep leaving that in. Second shot from Tommy Fleetwood at 11. He’s got a back stop behind. He can use green light pin here, boys. [Music] [Applause] Just as suggested from Robert McIntyre was putting for birdie at 13. We’re giving him a nice two putt for bogey at 12 after finding the water off the tee. Stay up. Oh yeah, it did. Oh, I got it right back. [Applause] Nice bounce back. Yeah, perfect line. He’s far enough back from the lip that shouldn’t be an issue at all. Holding this finish like he likes it. And he should, I guess. out of the fairway bunker. Brad, that was McIntyre. This to share. Yeah, another one leaving the flag stick in here. That’s downhill right at that spot. That looks pretty good, too. Do this again. No way. He did it again. Now, he’ll be laughing at this one. Burns. Second and 18. Kind of kept that one down there a little bit. Oh, yeah. Got it all the way back to the hole using the slope. Nice to make that to get in at two under par. Is he going to crack a smile? Are you My goodness, this is outrageous. Five birdies in a row. Oh my gosh. And these are not tappins. for the third one of the day. Yeah, Bud Collie. That’s a great ending to this difficult hole. Fraction breeze back in his face. Oh, he smashed it. See if he gets a kick off the left side. Sure did. Yes, he did. Wow. Look at this. What a finish for McIntyre. Left edge maybe just inside. Keep some pace up. Six in a row to close things out. Day one for Robert McIntyre. 62 and a four shot lead. What a display on the green. You don’t see many often players four shots better than the second best score. number one in the world. Had the lead when he closed things out.

Just hire a new editor at this point
Great round Bob keep it going.😀👌👍
10:31 I could look at that ball flight on repeat for days
Macintyre made Scheffler look like a weekend hacker. Masterclass.
Come on Tommy
Let's finish now with Bob winning and Tommy second 😅
Talk about a bounce back…WOW!
There's always those people who zoom up the leaderboard or zoom out to quite the lead, but inevitably they fizzle out.. we'll see what happens
You'd think the bmw championship would be in Germany
#macattack! ✌️🌸🏌🏾♂️
Sheff …
9 mins in before MacIntyre is first seen…then we don’t get to see all 6 birdies. Methinks the PGA doesn’t want to feature him as much as others, just consider us watching players putt for par, whilst Robbie Mac was 2 under, one off the lead, without us getting to see any of it.
Not a fan of US reporters in golf – but this time: with compliments!
Gotta put the hype at the end. Rank em by excitement, not chronologically!
Who is the commentator who always sounds like he has marbles in his throat?
production / edit is so unbelievably bad…
Great to see in random order
The Editors are Democrats
Didn’t think DOGE would have targeted experienced editors from the PGA Tour but obviously did. Hopefully the girl / guy that actually knew what they were doing got another job somewhere 👍🏻
Cheer up MacIntyre, something good will happen soon!
Ridiculous putting by MacIntyre
CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER please PGA, lazy editing
Boab putting like the God of golf, what a display that was. Get the win Boab, that would be insane!
We need more shots off the tee and approach shots 👀
mon Bobbo!
Excellent highlights
Mac Daddy has been playing Great all year, what a round of golf ⛳️ he had today 👍
2 strokes off the course record, what a freaking round
Free Wesley Bryan!
Fleetwood always at the top lol. I want to see him win one man
Hovland let’s win this thing bud
lets go DAY
Bobby Mac came to play. Boy was on a heater
This is what a rural golf course looks like, AMAZING CONDITION.
I bet MacIntyre is wishing he could have just played on. His putting was sublime.
Can we include some mistakes in the highlights too? Golf is about the only sport where fans like to see plays that aren’t perfect…a bad bogey here in there would be nice to see!!
This highlight is suck
Joke coverage of Bob, he’s just finished with 6 birds in a row and he isn’t even seen until 9th minute of 12 minute video! American tv hate it when we are winning! Bring on September 🏴
