Kai Trump, the 18-year-old granddaughter of U.S. President Donald Trump, has kicked off her senior year at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens with a subtle nod to the University of Miami, where she plans to attend next year.

She celebrated the start of her final high school year with a social media post on Wednesday, posing with friends in front of their luxury cars marked with “Seniors” across the rear windows.

Last summer, Kai announced her commitment to join the University of Miami Women’s Golf Team for the 2026 signing class, expressing gratitude to her grandfather for providing access to his network of golf courses nationwide. This announcement followed podcaster Joe Rogan’s revelation of a new conspiracy theory about an attempted assassination of Trump in 2024.

Since then, the young golfer has achieved several notable results in various junior golf tournaments, including a career-best third-place finish on the Srixon Medalist Tour last month.

Earlier this year, Kai secured her most significant NIL deal by partnering with energy drink brand Accelerator Active Energy. She also collaborated with Dallas-based Leaf Trading Cards, which sells autographed cards for $200 a pack.

However, this week marked a return to academics for the aspiring golfer as she began her senior year of high school, commemorating the occasion with a special Instagram post on Wednesday.

“I can’t believe it’s my last first day of high school. Senior year here we come #friends #senioryear,” Trump captioned the post, which showcased 10 photos of her and her high school buddies, including best friend Emma Markin.

One photo featured her mom, Vanessa, as they stood on either side of a Cadillac SUV marked with “20-U-26” in a subtle hint to her future college. In the comments section, Vanessa wrote: “That’s my girl!” accompanied by a red heart emoji.

Two additional photos displayed the same vehicle marked with the unmistakable “U” logo, with one showing Trump flashing the “U” hand sign next to it while donning a gold crown.

DON’T MISS

This comes shortly after Trump’s grandfather expressed his thoughts on her college choice, considering their close relationship and “special bond”.

Despite leading very different lives, it’s evident that the elder Trump is deeply invested in his granddaughter’s life, with the teenage star recently revealing how their relationship influenced her college decision.

“We’re very close, and we bond over golf,” she told FOX News Digital while discussing her NIL deal with Accelerator Active Energy.

“So, he influenced me a lot with golf, especially when I was talking about schools and colleges. He loved that I was going to Miami because Trump Doral was right there as well, so he’s influenced me a lot with golf.”
