Washington native, and PGA TOUR winner talks about his passion for growing golf through the WA Golf Foundation and WA Golf Youth on Course.

Hey everyone, Andrew Putnham here. I’m excited to share a little bit about something close to my heart. It’s called the Washington Golf Foundation. It’s dedicated to fostering and advancing the growth of golf here in Washington. It’s all about supporting initiatives and programs that really bring together our golf community. One of my favorites and one that I’m deeply committed to is supporting is Washington Golf Youth Oncourse. This program gives young golfers the chance to play for just $5 a round at over 70 courses in Washington and northern Idaho. I mean, how awesome is that? It’s not just about playing golf. It’s about developing a lifelong love for the game of golf. Youth on Course is hands down one of the best things to happen to golf in a long, long time. Making the game accessible to young and beginning golfers. That’s how we secure the future of the sport, create opportunities for juniors, and bring families together on the course. It’s something that resonates with everyone. And with over 70 participating courses right here in our area and over 2,000 more across the US, these young golfers have a ton of opportunities to get out there and play.
