It’s going to be a booze fest and you will spend another $50-$100 on bullshit like mulligans and tickets and donations at tee boxes for tickets to win soemthing if you hit the green or to tee off from the fairway on a par 5 or whatever. So heads up on that, you will spend more but it’s for charity and all good, but bring cash.

I played this at Duran last year. We got absolutely shit faced bananas. I played with a golf pro and his friends and we officially received a DNF because we didn’t keep score for our last six holes. Last year they had breathalyzers at the end to subtract your score so everyone made sure to be trashed by the end. I’m guessing the random placement is to discourage getting wasted at the end again. We all blew 1.2s and I think the breathalyzers were limited at that for liability or something. I felt fine (probably because my central nervous system shutdown) but my buddies were about unable to stand. Probably one of the most debauched golf outing I’ve had, and it was fun. I don’t think Duran cared for it though, which makes sense they’d move it Baytree since that place is nastay.
The hosts were awesome, we went in to get some mixed drinks at the turn and they had a tab open for everyone. One of the hosts also came out and played a hole with us. If you like drinking and you like golfing and you like the person that invited you, this is a no brainer. But next time I’d come with the mentality that “I’m not drinking” so I only got drunk and not absolutely obliterated. I actually quit drinking for three months after that.
And seriously, If you do play you absolutely need to make plans to get picked up by a friend.

We played this once. 4 man scramble. Our “A” player stayed sober and the rest of us got polluted, got first, and also got pulled over half mile from the course, our A player saved us more than once that day.
