Phil Mickelson & Tiger Woods Are More Alike Than They Care to Admit LIV Pro Ex-Caddie Gives Details
Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods. Similar style, different outcomes. Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods both shared an aggressive, high-risk approach, says Jim Bones Mai, Mickelson’s longtime caddy. Woods combined precision and confidence, producing iconic moments like his 1997 Masters comeback and a flawless four iron at the 2019 Open Championship. Mickelson’s bold shots, including the 2010 Masters tree shot and a controversial 2018 US Open penalty, often drew criticism. While both players embraced high-risk strategies, Woods frequently executed them successfully, securing wins. Whereas Mickelson’s attempts sometimes backfired. Memorable showdowns such as the 2005 Ford Championship at Dural and the 2001 Arnold Palmer Invitational highlight this contrast, showing how two similar playing styles led to very different results under pressure. My opinion about this is that it's click-baity bullshit. Woods and Mickelson shared very aggressive playing styles, but one was more successful. No shit. Maybe next time put in Daly, Rahm, etc. Useless fucking video. Do something meaningful or sell your equipment .
