What an exceptional too. Pushed it a little bit off the tea. What a fabulous sweater. Loving that. Oh, here we go. Driver out from the first cut. 279 all up hill back into the breeze. This is everything he’s got. I tell you what, that was risky because that was only a yard or so and he’s going to get away with this. It was a yard from plugging straight in that bank in front of him. He only just got over it. Well, we know he’s a a last round specialist after the way he played in Belgium and the following week early on in the year. There’s Joe Dean to go two under at the eighth. Nicely done. As I say, he’s been very quiet this season, has Joe. So, he needs to get a wrigle on as we watch Christopher Rightand hoping to move to three under. Can he get this one? Yes, he can. The wind as well coming from the safe side. It’s going to be tough. Well, that’s good because yesterday those were lipping out. This is just a right edge putt for Birdie. Welld deserved if you ask me. Now he’s lost his confidence on the green. You can see that housing to move to minus two. Yep. Right in the middle. Left. Going left, working it against a breeze. Going to go nowhere. Oh dear, that is a wide. That really is another Norwegian, Andreas Hal Vorson, who had a really nice start to the week. And he’s coming back nicely out there today as well. He’s on the metal almost of the shaft. Look at this. This is good luck with this one. Let’s see. I almost thought he might take an unplayable there. The way you could miss that. You really could have missed that. And and he’s he’s actually worse now. We go out to Eddie Pil with a chance here at 12. Yeah, 12th hole is playing into the breeze. He’s not playing under its par, but he’s made it early. Well done. Well, this would be quite something, Richard, wouldn’t it? There’s a long way to go, but Prol is now within three shots of the lead. Here we go again with Grant Forest down the grip. That’s gone left surely. Well, he’s he’s lucky there. He’s out and he’s a long way back. It’s a wonderful Lynx day, isn’t it? Blustery wings, winds, and an angry sky up there as well. And look at this for a golf shot from Ryan. Almost stone cold. Well, okay. There we go. Steady. Don’t go into the thicker stuff. That’s awkward as well on a slight down slope. Tough behind it. Going to have to bump that. Look at what he’s got ahead of him. All the the humps and hollows. Stay. Stay. stay. Yeah, he’s looking so good again. Ter Green. Well, he’s catching that grass on his back swing there. I would go even steeper if I was him. This is excellent. Really good shot. Really great shot. Well, hang on. I’m just going to count them up. I kind of lost count. Danhousen down the hill pretty quick this one. Right to left. Keep turning. Keep turning. Keep turning. Well done, Dan. That’s a great birdie. He is hanging tough. Needs it. Hold your line. Yes. Well, hold. That’s two shots gone in the last three holes, but he still stays in a tie for the lead. And this to take the lead. This to go to minus six and does it. Excellent stuff. Six under par leads by one. Freeze off the right trying to cut it and hold it. That looks pretty good. Oh, it’s a fabulous shot. That’s really well done. There’s There’s the wind that Richard’s talking about. He hit a beauty into 14. Oh, he’s hit a beauty in here as well. Great control again. Very nicely held there from Clemens. One behind now to move to four under which will be within one of the lead. Look out. We did say when he’s on a roll, he can get on a real roll. Now, it’s been a while, isn’t it, since we’ve checked in with Jakobskov Olison. He’s found the fairway at 15 and he has made an eagle two. What a move. What a back nine he’s had. Birdies at 12 and 13. And now the Eagle at number 15 after that horrid start. Oh, look at this plug line. Can’t go at the flag here. Peril. He’s done well there. He’s used a bit of the wind as well. Look at that. That’s a great shot. That was That was a horrid line. Ball the flag to the left of that bunk. Oh, he slipped. Oh no, left is not good either cuz that’s where it’s going. If he slips, I think. Oh, look at that. Just a fall as he stiffs it. Awful. What has happened there? Foot slipped and he makes birdie. And by the way, there’s only been two on this hole. It’s the least birdies of any hole on the golf course. Take a look at this. Remarkable. Normally when you do that, it’s either straight right, pulled left to Dan Howing, who’s got this to go four under within one of the lead. Got it. He’s got it. He’s got it. Now, this is becoming some performance from Dan Housing. Long way to go. And that wind howling off the right. You’re not going to see many birdie chances like this. And it’s seriously gusting right now. Well, it is a share of the lead for Christopher Wright. And six birdies he’s had today in this gusting wind. It’s about time Forest had a birdie. Hasn’t had one yet. Oh, nearly an eagle. Well, he should get one now. Yeah, and that should pop him back into the lead again. Clemens at the 16th. Excellent T-shot playing with Fitzpatrick and Justin Harding. Left to right down the hill. will come round. Bang. You beauty. Dropped a shot on the last. Gets it straight back on the 16. Yeah. Back into a share of the lead as well. Four tied at the top now at five under par. Yeah, he’s got to keep it inside the hole. You don’t look for any break here. It’s not necessary. Just straight and firm. Good roll. Good strike end over end. Then the back of the hole. Thank you very much. Wow, at last he’ll breathe a sigh of relief. The first red number on the scorecard. Very well above his feet. This is very easy to snag this left. He’ll be aiming at these dunes out here on the right on the fairway. Those hummocks. Just see if he can get it out to the right and it will move a bit right to left. Oh, he’s done brilliantly. What a shot. That’s brilliant. Worst shot of the day, Richard. Absolutely shot of the day. That is brilliant. Dan house. You land this about 2 three yards on. It will release. Oh, in in Oh, that what a four that would have been. That was really well done. Cheers. He knows how fast this putt is. will come off his right. This all green filters to the front portion. Good pace. Good line. Oh yes. Now he’s starting to feel the confidence again. Even exceed the Oracles tally of two birdies. Could he extend his lead? I wonder this one’s going to come off his left. All slopes towards the front portion of this green this putt. So, this be a nice way to finish, especially with all the local support he’s brought along with him. Does he get the big cheer? Does he get it? Does he? What a part. Wow. What a finish from Grant Forest. But it is 17 and 18. And Forest is going to take a threeshot lead into the final round of the Nexo Championship. That’s quite the little statement, isn’t it? Grant Scott at the top of the leaderboard going into the final day in Scotland. Could be a fairy tale brewing here. Well, a lot, you know, a long way to go tomorrow and uh but you know, yeah, really happy with, you know, the way I dug in today and um you know, obviously a lovely way to finish. Um took a lot of patience, but yeah, we’ll see what tomorrow brings. Two over after 10. You talked about your patience. What was it you said to yourself at that stage? Discussion with your caddy perhaps that got things going. Yeah, I mean, you know, we I played I played nicely the first first seven holes, a poor shot into eight and ended up in a bad spot. And to be honest, uh the bogey on 10 was a, you know, was actually a felt like a bit of a boost. Um you know, I was staring seven seven or potentially worse in the face. So yeah, to to skate with six there was, you know, that kind of settled me down a bit and uh yeah, you know, just just kept giving giving ourselves chances and you know, finally got got a couple of PS to drop at the end there. Is there anything that you will do differently tomorrow? The patience’s the key today. Do you feel like you need to to push harder to be more aggressive on a final day? It’s more the same. I don’t think so. You know, I’m pretty happy with with our game plan so far. And I’ve I’ve not checked what the weather’s to be, but you know, if it’s similar conditions, you know, it’s it’s just it’s just about, you know, getting it in play off the tea. You know, Ferris and Greens, it’s it’s that old that old chestnut. And um you know, I’ve done that pretty well so far. And yes, you know, staying staying patient. Yeah. And are you the kind of player that likes to lead or prefer a chase? What’s your preferred position? I think I think I’ve only led once before and I ended up winning. But, you know, it’s, you know, long way to go. 18 holes and, you know, especially out there in these conditions. You know, I’m just going to, you know, take one shot at a time and and and do our best to to do that. And loads of friends and family around to to kind of keep your mind off the task ahead this evening. A few up up tonight. And I think there’ll be there’ll be a lot more coming up tomorrow I think uh now. So really looking forward to it. And baby Spencer here as well. Baby Spencer as well. Yeah, he’s arrived. Yeah. Tell me about your favorite home comfort you’ve had the last 3 weeks or so at home since the Scottish Open. What’s been the best thing about always being home? Uh it’s just, you know, spending time with with Christy and Spencer. you know, kind of every morning when he wakes up, like I’ll take him downstairs and, you know, do the first first playtime and uh while Christy gets gets some more sleep cuz she does all the all the night wakens and um but yeah, it’s just it’s just great. Like, you know, he’s he’s up standing up now trying to move around and, you know, it’s it’s just crazy. But just yeah, loving loving being a dad. Well, he’s waiting for his cuddle. Thank you, Grant. Good luck tomorrow. Thank you. Cheers. He stuck right in there. Two over. Hadn’t played two over golf, you know, after 10 holes. And he was patient. Patience has been key, hasn’t it? That’s for sure. And Grant Forest, there it is, confirming that three-shot lead over Brighton, Clemens, and Housing. To watch another DP World Tour video, click here. And to subscribe, click here.
