Hey guys, welcome back to Modern Golf. I hope you’re having a great day and even better week. Today we’re taking a look at, I think, the oddest golf bag I’ve ever seen. It’s also maybe one of the coolest golf bags we’ve ever seen and tested. This is the Never Lose C2 utility. You will not want to miss this review. Stay tuned to this review of this incredible golf bag. So, as you guys know, well, if you’re new here, uh my name is Jeff. Uh this is Modern Golf. We review all things golf from tech to golf bags to apparel to equipment to you name it. We review a lot of golf bags on this channel as you guys know a lot. And every once in a while something comes across that is very different. And this is one of these products that is very different. And I think a lot of us look at something like this and poo poo it and say I have no interest in this. But I got to tell you, I’ve used this a number of times, and this is one of the most unique golf bags I’ve ever seen for sure and test it. So, I want to talk to you a little bit about kind of what this bag is, what it does. Uh, again, there’s no affiliate links. I can’t help you with, but I wanted to kind of go over this bag because I’ve used it. I love it, and I’m going to tell you kind of why I think it’s interesting to try out. uh their really concept is and we’ll get into this as we go. This top um and the way this bag is engineered and designed, they make this bag in a number of different series. They make a stand bag version. They also make a uh luxury version. They also make a really high-end luxury version as well. This bag system has what they call an exoskeleton or exoskin. So, these can be replaced. So, if you, you know, get white and it gets destroyed in a year or two, you can always buy another one. Um, they have some custom ones, some very high-end custom ones, but very cool. This one price point is right around 339, I believe. Uh, and there’s one that’s 3.49 or 359, and they go up. And there’s also a stand bag that’s a little less money. So, this is black. Um, for those who are wondering if it looks gray or anything other colors, the the weight on this is much lighter than uh you would think. I want to say it’s around 6 lbs. could be around seven. I’ve scaled a number of times. It’s kind of hard to link lock it in uh to get an exact weight, but I’ll get into all the pockets. It’s got almost 20 pockets. Uh some really unique details as well as this very cool um top. So, let’s start at the top first. So, how does this system work? I’ll put pictures up uh a couple times we’ve used this. It reminds me of Game of Thrones. Uh, if you familiar with Game of Thrones and the the throne itself, um, reminds me of this. And if I turn this around this way, you guys can see it’s kind of like a chest cavity, uh, almost split. Um, so very unique bag, very unique system. And again, we’ll get into this. So, how does this thing work? So, you have these little clips, and they give you 10 clips, and they give you extras. And there is a one-year warranty on the bag, a lifetime warranty on the clips. And they’ve told us as you go if you break a clip, which is possible, uh they will send you another one for free forever as long as you pay for shipping back to you, which I think is a fair price. These are also adjustable. So, and I’ll put pictures up. There’s little screws in here, so you can slide these and move these. And these go pretty freely. Like you can move these a little bit. Um but if you want to slide this up, you have to unscrew this and they slide. Like if you want your nine iron a little closer to your pitching wedge, you can do that. I’m going to show you how this works. Again, we have pictures up, but I just want to show you. I grabbed a wedge and I just want to show you guys how this kind of works. And it’s going to be a little awkward for me. So, I’m going to try to do this here. So, you see these holes here, right? So, there’s one, two, three, four, five holes. Then, there’s a huge cavity in the back for your woods. We’ll get into all that as we go, but so you would find the hole you want to go into first, right? And your club literally just goes in like this. And so the question is going to be, well, how do I get the club out? You literally can just hit one of these either with your thumb, and again, this is a little more awkward for me because of the bag, and your club pops out, and way you go. For your woods, it’s the same type of system, right? You put it in the hole, you clip in, you’re good to go. Your putter can go on either one of these tubes. We’ll get into all this as well. Super easy to use, and I’ll explain kind of how we get that out here. If you can see it, I’ll show you guys here. So, you literally can just pull one of these out and pop your shaft out. Uh, and away you go. Very unique golf bag. Again, when I first saw this and talked to them and we talked about testing it, I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into. Uh, I have to tell you, after using it for a number of rounds, um, your clubs obviously don’t rattle. you know, and I think that’s the point of never lose, you know, if you’re missing a club. And now, if you carry 10 clubs, a little different, but it does carry up to 15 clubs. We’ll get into all that as we go. But let’s talk about the bottom of this bag first. So, you have this kind of material here that unzips. This is if you want to get into the rain hood. There’s the rain hood in here. And you have a little storage in here. Lot of cool functionality with this golf bag. These tubes you can put your putter in or if you carry you can carry your putter in or put extra clubs in. I actually had my camera apparatus on one side and then uh my putter in here. It fits oversized grips cuz I know that’s a question. So any oversized grips will fit in this golf bag. I don’t care if you’re playing jumbo max grips or what have you. They will fit a lot of pockets in here. Again, pocket here. There’s a pocket in here. There’s literally they had maxed this thing out. But I want to get into the major pockets um first and then we’ll kind of wrap up with this bag. Little keyring here if you want to hang something off of like your rangefinder, what have you. There’s a large pocket in here that I actually have um the extra tools and kits. Uh fantastic that they put that in there. You have this zipper that opens up that is just basically a big storage, big cavern. There’s storage. uh has a large area for velcro for your grips. Again, we talked about this storage in here. Large pocket in here for it’s huge. Goes into your um ball pocket. It’s not valuable lined. Um but I think it’s fine. There are you can also see water bottle pockets on the sides. There’s also a large pocket here for your golf balls. This does come off. Uh again, so we talked about if you want to get I love modern golf or um your mother’s made a name or whatever it is, you can do that. There is a grab handle here. And this bag, I will tell you it looks heavy. It is not heavy. Um there’s also, you can see here at the bottom their logo. Obviously, one thing I would like to do, uh I would like to see I should say, is put a little bit of rubber on here. So, uh, when it’s in a parking lot and this happens happened to me, it can, you know, if you’re in a rainy parking lot and it’s wet, I would Anyway, I’d like a little bit of rubber on here. How’s that for an answer? Um, we’ll also get into this while we’re over here. This kind of like spine of this golf bag has this very nice I it’s a tough guard material. It’s like an imitation leather, but that feels really good. I actually carried the bag like this. Um, there is a carrying strap here. uh that goes on. You can see kind of into this exoskeleton system. Has like that tough guard, that grippy material here, which I like. Again, it’s it’s I don’t say it’s awkward. It it takes a little bit of time to get used to how to carry this bag and how it functions and all that stuff. Again, I carry it in the parking lot like this. The bag is not heavy at all. Uh I was really surprised to be honest with you. So, if we flip this guy around and I’ll just do it this way. It’s pretty much identical on this side. Again, same storage pockets here. Here there’s there’s a little couple different pockets on this side. This one is cooler line. Uh so you can see I think this is actually the pocket that’s cooler line. Yeah, this one’s cooler line. That’s the back of the cooler line. So this has partial cooler line, let’s call it. Uh pretty large pocket in here. Really big. You can see how much storage you can have in here. This one is also cooler lined uh fully. So this is a great place to put your drinks. This thing would hold I mean you I have it I have it here. I’ll show you. So, you haven’t watched our other video um for the summer, this is the this is the Yeti I use and I just pour pour water all over myself. Um it actually will hold my Yeti. It’s a 64 oz Yeti that it holds. So, don’t be concerned about not having storage with this bag. Uh because it holds a ton, a ton, a ton. So, that’s pocket. Again, same type of system in here. I I just want to kind of remind you guys how the exoskeleton so you can replace these. One of the questions that I didn’t know how this was going to work and I had to kind of really do it in person and you can see it says cart strap. So when you put this uh I don’t know if you guys can you see this? Can you see me through here? So when you’re using it on a on a power cart, let’s say a motorized cart, the strap will go through here to lock it in place. I’ve been told from the company itself, these do not do good on push and pull carts. Um, I haven’t tested it yet, but I was told they don’t do great, so I don’t know. I mean, there may be people who have these and they say it’s fine. Uh, I’ve been told they don’t do great on them. Um, but really kind of what are my thoughts of this golf bag to to wrap up? Again, I I talked about it earlier. Every once in a while something comes across us that’s like I have never seen or even dreamt of. And this is one of these bags. um three times that we’ve used it, I’ve had literally no issues. Uh the only issues I have is user error is you forget how to get your clubs in and out. So you go to pull your driver out and you’re like, “Oh, I got to use the little clip to loosen it and away you go.” I loved it. Your clubs don’t rattle. It’s very unique. Um as they told me and as I experienced, be prepared if you get one of these for a lot of comments. Uh people asked I think we had yesterday or two days ago three people asking me uh one in the parking lot leaving two while we were playing. It’s a really cool product. Um and again I I love um you know people pushing the envelope and doing something differently uh than the norm. It’s very cool. It’s very different. I would say the only thing that I would tell you and you probably can’t even get in this whole shot. Yeah, probably not. Um, it’s a tall golf bag and I’ll put the measurements in. You you don’t have any problem getting it uh onto a power cart at all. Obviously, you have the room. The only thing that I had to kind of figure out is how does it fit uh in my car. I mean, that was the only thing that I was a little concerned with and it fit fine. I had no issues, but it is taller than most golf bags by about 6 to 8 in. Um, so just letting you know the material and I’ll kind of wrap up. The material in here is like a rubbery material where your clubs go into, but again, you have plenty of space to get all your clubs uh from your driver and all your woods um everything. And again, I’ll put pictures up and how it looks and all that. It’s really been a lot of fun to use, you know, o overall just really, really good golf bag. Um a ton of pockets like we talked about. You got pockets here, you know, pockets in here. Uh, and again, if something happens to this golf bag, this whole thing’s a basically a skin. So, you can literally get a whole new skin. If you want tomorrow, let’s say you order a black one, tomorrow you want a white one, you can order a white one and un unvelcro this whole thing and put it together and away you go. But really have enjoyed this. Again, one of the coolest golf bags that we have seen in a long, long time. Um, and kudos and props to the people who came up with this design. It’s very cool. I’m hoping I’ll get uh a chance to check out the stand bag. It’s just a little smaller version. I would say it does the same function, but would like to see that in person.
