The PGA Tour is reaching its closing stages, with the BMW Championship continuing the FedExCup Playoffs this week.

Caves Valley Golf Club plays host to the BMW Championship, which follows Justin Rose’s win at the FedEx St. Jude Championship last week.

Rose won the St. Jude Championship via a playoff with J.J. Spaun, with Scottie Scheffler and Tommy Fleetwood tying for third.

All players are now in the field for the BMW Championship, along with Rory McIlroy after he skipped the first event.

The Masters champion is second in the FedExCup standings behind Scheffler, with the playoffs finishing next week at the Tour Championship.

How Neal Shipley felt about playing with Tiger Woods at The Masters

While it is both a huge and proud moment for the American, Shipley has already made major waves on the biggest stage despite his brief career so far.

Not only did he play alongside legendary figure Tiger Woods at The Masters in 2024, but he also outshone his compatriot at the iconic venue.

After Shipley became the only amateur to make the cut, he was rewarded for his efforts with a dream Sunday pairing with Woods.

Woods carded a round of five-over as he finished 60th overall on 16-over, with his playing partner finishing T53 on 12-over after his final round one-over.

Speaking of his experience, the Ohio State graduate said at the time: “Playing with Tiger, Sunday at the Masters, the whole week, I think I have to win one of these things to kind of top this week.

“He’s such a normal guy and really cool. He was great to me all day. Couldn’t be more appreciative of him just being awesome today, and it was just really cool to be around him and just the attention he gets and the roars. The crowds were phenomenal.”
