Long Iron Launch Testing with Wyndham Clark

[Music] [Music] When what are you thinking when you see this shot? Just walk us through it. Let’s hit a couple. So on this shot, I mean, you want obviously height. You want to be able to hit it high without having to try to do that. And that’s what I love is to be able to just swing my natural swing with a long iron and have it just shoot super high. So for me here, I’ll aim about 15 20 yards left, put the ball a touch more up in my stance and hit a really high cut that helps it land really soft and and really gives no stress of covering those trees. Marty, what did you add into new T100 to help Windam instead of feeling like he’s got to go around this tree just go? One of the biggest things we added to the long irons for the T100, so this 4 iron in particular for you has a muscle channel. So, this is a technology that is carrying over from our T-150 product. So, now by adding that muscle channel, it allows us to get a little bit more launch and a little bit more speed out of the face of this iron. That also allows us to get a little bit more weight down low, right? So, that we’re replacing that channel weight with lighter weight polymer. And then that weight that we save, we can then put down lower, drop the CG almost a millimeter, which is going to help us get that launch as well. That was pretty nice. Right off the jump, right as I was hitting it, felt like it was 10 12 ft higher, which is a big difference. 117 height, 48 land angle, 239, so about 6footer. Pretty good. Yeah. Oh, great swing. What’s great is you can attack front pins into par fives or long par threes. And to have the ability to land it really soft, almost like a short iron, is a massive advantage. Oh. Oh, yes. What’s not fun about watching that beauty? That was almost effortless to hit it higher, which is really nice. We got a launch party is what we got. I’ve been doing this for a while now and I have not seen balls being hit at that height from that distance over trees so effortlessly. To just see that firsthand was pretty amazing. It just validates everything that we’ve been doing. There it is. Oh, that might go in. There it is. Oh, flying. There it is. Where’s the pin? We’re going to make one. [Music]
