Hey everyone and welcome back to the channel. Now, if you’re anything like me, you’ve probably spent countless hours on the driving range trying to perfect your golf swing. And a huge part of that, certainly for me, is filming my golf swing to see where I am going wrong. But let’s be honest, walking back and forth to your phone after every single shot can be a real pain. But what if there was a better way of doing things? Today we’re looking at a product that promises to be a real gamecher for golfers who film their swing. And that’s this, the Snap Swing. Now, this is a Bluetooth camera shutter that attaches to your club, letting you start and stop recordings with the push of a button. But does it actually work? Well, let’s find out. Right out of the box, you can tell this is a no fuss product. It comes with minimal cardboard based packaging and the instructions are conveniently printed on the back of the box, making the setup incredibly straightforward. The device itself feels lightweight yet durable, and the design is simple and very intuitive. Connecting it via Bluetooth to my iPhone was a seamless process that took only just a few seconds. Throughout my testing, the connection was reliable and it never dropped out, which is crucial when you’re in the middle of trying to record your golf swing. It attaches quite easily to the golf club grip in just a few seconds. And once it’s attached, you are good to go. The Snap Swing’s main job is to make filming your golf swing easier, and it does just that for taking still images of your golf swing. It really is a fantastic little gadget. It completely eliminates the need for using timers and results in much higher quality, non-blurry photos than you’d get from taking screenshots from a video, which I have done in the past. And it’s also perfect for capturing the exact moment you want to analyze from your golf swing. When it comes to recording videos, the process is also seamless and saves you a huge amount of time. You can simply press the button on the device with your thumb to start and stop the recording, meaning that you can stay in your stands, view your ball flight, and get ready for your next shot without even leaving your spot. Not only does it save you from having to go back and forth to start and stop recordings, but it means that you only ever record the footage you actually want and need, so there’s no extra time wasted trimming or chopping your swing video footage. Not only that, but using the snap swing to control the shutter also helps you maintain your focus and rhythm during your practice sessions. Unfortunately though, it’s not all quite as perfect as it sounds. I did notice a couple of things I’d love to see improved with the snap swing. The most significant drawback is that the device tends to spin on the grip during a full golf swing. This means that you have to manually reposition it after each shot or when you next want to use it, which can be a little bit frustrating and can break your concentration. I also have to point out that the device uses an outdated micro USB port for charging. In an age where most new tech uses USBC, it does feel a little bit behind the curve. Additionally, there is no battery level indicator, so you’re never quite sure how much charge is left. However, I didn’t notice any difference, and it didn’t switch off from a full charge, and I have used it for several practice sessions. Whilst these certainly aren’t deal breakers, they are slight pain points that I think are worth mentioning. So, after putting the Snap Swing to the test, what’s my final verdict? Well, despite a few minor flaws, I think the Snapswing is a great, versatile, and relatively inexpensive accessory that does do exactly what it was designed to do. It makes the process of capturing photos or videos of your golf swing just so much more efficient and enjoyable. It’s a small investment that can make a big difference to your practice sessions. And as a device, I do think that it’s the kind of thing that all golfers should probably have in their bag, particularly those who regularly visit the driving range and are looking to improve their golf swings. On that note, if you are thinking about picking one up after this short review video, then I’ve put a direct product link and special discount code in the description below, so be sure to check those out. Also, whilst you’re there, if you’d like to support the channel, then make sure that you do hit that like button. Feel free to leave a comment or any questions about the Snapswing. And if you’ve not done so already, please do consider subscribing so that you’re notified about any future releases. Anyway, thanks very much for watching and I’ll see you in the next video.
