This is freestyle wrestling…most ppl don't know the difference between Olympic Freestyle, Greco-Roman, & the most important….. Collegiate Folkstyle!!!

Bo needs to muscle big time before college even if it means going up a couple weight classes. He has no tone or definition to his body right now. Workout instead of wasting time on the social media trying to gain followers and get popular.

I’m telling you man; Bassett is a great wrestler. There is no doubt about that and nobody is disputing it but it’s like he is a not as good Brent Metcalf. It’s really weird.

To be fair it is REALLY hard for these awesome folkstyle wrestlers (like Bo) to level up! Dake was a 4X NCAA champion and it took him a full decade to make an Olympic team and then he was teched in just his second match. The US needs to expose guys to freestyle way earlier…
AfterAnthony Ashnault beat Kolodzik so easily I think Kolodzik really upped his conditioning and training. He looks like a new man. Bassett is a rookie but Matt makes it look like Bo never showed up.

Bassett chose not to go to Penn State because he didn't want to wait 2 seasons to wrestle. There isn't anyone at Penn State he could beat out for a starting position.
Bo is an amazing athlete. But I firmly believe the Adderall is a performance enhancing drug

To be fair, I don't think anyone realistically expected Bo to win or make the Olympic team. Maybe if the USA wasn't a powerhouse they would try to get him in, just for the story/attention from the media it would generate. We will probably see him in 2032, though.
Bo lost in the U20 to japan to the same move.. He'll be a freshman in College.You can hear how thrilled the coach is and the he man flex after besting the kid was a big win for Kolodzik and his team it is a big win I'd take Bo in the rematch think he had prom the night before.
When 2 guys are on a similar technique level, strength really matters..
Good. Not a fan of Bo. He's his biggest fan on his world tour recruiting process was absolutely ridiculous. Blaze is just as good if not better and his along with most recruitments was very quiet.

One thing clearly apparent here. Bassett has a brilliant future. But more importantly for whatever coach he wrestles for. His Achilles is his defense. He got through with a duck under and he got to his legs, almost easily. College wrestling is heavily geared toward 3 point takedowns. Fix this now or he'll end up like DeSantis instead of Lee.
