Hosted by the Washington Lady Blue Lions at The Greens in Fayette County on Tuesday (Aug. 12), the Frontier Athletic Conference held their first conference girls golf match of the 2025 season where the Jackson Ironladies won the first event of six this season.
Jackson won with a score of 192, followed by Miami Trace in second place at 213.
The third through sixth place teams were Washington (225), Chillicothe (229), McClain (230), and Hillsboro (261).
The Top 5 individuals in the first FAC meet at The Greens saw Jackson senior Aubrey Arnold win with a score of 36 in the 9-hole event. In second place was Washington senior Faith Wynne at 39. Third place went to McClain senior Kaylin Sterling with a 42 score. In fourth place was Jackson senior Raquel Thomas at 46, and also tied for fourth place was Miami Trace junior Allison Reeves at 46.
McClain’s scores also included: Avery Murphy (60), Reese Roble (62), Autumn Uhrig (66), Audrey Chamblin (67), and Lyla Chamblin (71).
Hillsboro’s scores included: Rylea Scarberry (60), Ann Boyd (64), Brianna Foxx (68), Ryan Beyersdoerfer (69), and Emarey Schurman (70).
