It was supposed to rain, but it never did. Since I live in the neighborhood, I jumped at the chance to play an empty course. Played poorly, but beats working!

    Those days are awesome.

When I tee off at my home course at 6:30 am, the chances of me seeing Bigfoot are better than another golfer. The morning guys fly.

On the public courses around me they are always jammed tee times are made days in advance

When I lived in Ohio I would always try to make tee times for during the Ohio state football games. 🤌

That’s one of my favorite things. It’s so relaxing

I did this about 2 weeks ago.

Semi-private course and as I pulled in I didn’t see a single car in the parking lot, no one on the course or practice area.

I thought to myself “Oh shit, are they closed today and I just messed up the calendar?”

Nope, just an awesome day where our group essentially had the course to ourselves. It was glorious.

I did this yesterday. Went to a course as a walking solo and there was a duo on the tee box as I walked up and they invited me to tee off first, the next time I saw someone was another solo hitting his drive on 4 as I was walking to my second shot on three, didn’t see another human the rest of the round.

Not even the noise of the carts, it was beautiful.

Nothing beats being at a golf course with no one around. It’s an oasis
