This Golf Course Is the UK at Its Best! (Here’s Why)

What an absolute crazy golf course. The
Bournemouth Golf Tour is back and today we’re entering serious territory. A course carved
through towering pines and golden heather where every hole tests your nerve and not just
your swing. This is Parkstone. Elegant, brutal, unforgettable. But don’t let the
beauty fool you. This is a course built to expose weakness with runoffs that punish anything
less than perfect and greens that demand complete control. I don’t know how it survived. Today we
take it on. Yeah. If you look out to your right, you got a sea in Bournemouth Beach. A sandy
beach. Not like those beaches in Brighton. Way. With the sun dipping behind us and
the wind still carrying Perbeck’s echoes, we packed the clubs and left one world
for another. This looked a bit lost. No, I saw I was zoned in at the I’ve got eight iron
in my hand. I can try float one up there and it’s Yeah. Is that I’m scared a nine won’t be enough.
It is between clubs, isn’t it? Uh flag looks like it’s at the back. Lots of green to work with. Wind
just picked up. Was picked up. pitching wedge on. Oh, it’s long. It was never an eight iron.
It was definitely a nine iron. Should have listened to Leo. Look great in the air.
I’ll try I’ll try and hit a nine. Chat, why does it feel like the wind’s coming
down but the flag is blowing that way? Go in. That was a brilliant shot. Pleased to
see it. Thank you, sir. Thank you up there. He’s coming round. Looks good. Using the slope.
Oh my god. Go in. Go in. Go in. Oh, come on then. That’s like an inch from the hole. Is it again
this I on fire? It’s back behind. Good shot. Good shots. Good shots. I’m not I’m not cutting on
this camera cuz we’re going to I’m going to It’s shorter the hole. It’s shorter the hole, mate.
That’s the te That’s the distance I tee’d back on. Yeah, it is. That’s literally the distance
I tee’d back on. Unbelievable. I thought mine was 4 foot. Two good shots there. Not so much,
Andy, but Sorry, mate. the gates, the pines, everything just felt intentional. It’s the kind
of place that doesn’t shout, it just waits, calm and composed and lets the challenge come to
you. We checked in, laced up, and looked across a layout that felt more like a painting than a golf
course. Heather-lined fairways, perfect greens, and a silence broken only by the occasional crack
of a distant te-ot. They say Park Stone is one of the most beautiful golf courses in England. And
after walking its fairways, it’s hard to disagree. This place isn’t just well-kept, it’s curated.
Like every blade of grass has purpose, and every tree is part of the design. It’s the kind of
course that makes you slow down. Towering pines frame every hole like cathedral walls. The heather
glows in the late afternoon sun. And somewhere between the stillness and the struggle, you forget
you’re keeping score. It’s golf, but it’s always something more. A reminder of why we chase these
days. Why we drive across fairies and lose balls and laugh away. Because every once in a while, you
find a course that’s not just beautiful to play, but beautiful to remember. Oh my. What a d. Give
me some skin. Unbelievable. Your golf travel. Last hole, the 18th. An absolute stunner. We are
finishing with a par three. Let us know in the comments down below if you like to finish on a par
three. I’m Look, on paper, I would say no. But I mean, look at this par three into wind. 170 yards.
45 55 65. Probably just going to hit a seven. Stick the green. Looks good. Hold it. Hold
it. Hold it. It deserves to stay up. It deserves to stay up. It does not deserve that.
It really did not deserve that. I’m honestly I hate to see it. It was such a lovely strike.
You’re joking me. Join me. I don’t know. I think that’s cuz it’s hit a bit more club. Was
that bunker? Oh, no. Back of the green. Yeah, it was the same as you, but just different
club, isn’t it? Yeah. Nice, mate. This could be a victory for you. It could be a great hole.
Could be a rare victory. Very rare victory. Really tough break there, but I’m confident
in my abilities here. Just a nice little pop. It’s not bad. It’s purple. Greens are pure, by the way. Yeah, they are. Like
Leo said, they are like glass. Stroke it in. Yeah, that’s good, mate. Cheers, mate. It’s just not being Michael. I don’t
feel like I’ve played that bad, but Alli’s been playing really well. It just
hasn’t dropped, has it? You’ve got you’ve been in the holes. Like my putting. Yeah, it’s just
this just been nothing magical there. My irons have been actually okay. My driving, but putting
cuz it’s not my putter. See you. Yoink. Parkstone offers a completely different game. It’s sharp,
strategic, and relentlessly refined. a contrast to the rugged drama of Perbeck and the classic
flow of Fernown seen in previous episodes. And that’s the beauty of Bournemouth. We’ve played
three courses, each with their own character, on one stretch of coast where every round pills
fresh. From raw Heathland to coastal cliffs to this precision golf at its best. And if you
thought this was special, episode 4 takes us somewhere even more unique. Hit subscribe and come
with us as the Bournemouth Golf Tour continues.
