Hey guys, in today’s lesson video, let me show you guys the secret down swing move that I do to keep my spine angle in check and how I stay down throughout the golf shot to really create that really good dynamic loft, that really good angle towards impact. So, I could turn my seven iron into like a sixiron and hit the golf ball far distance without giving it my maximum effort. So, that’s all we want. We always want to have really good dynamic loft that impact and we want to create that effortless power so we don’t have to kill the golf ball every single time, but we still want to hit the golf ball far distance. So the main move is is the biggest thing that I see in the down swing is once we go to the top of our back swing position. Of course there are the everyday golfer that gets over the top and come steep. And that’s going to fix in today’s lesson video as well. But we also get the golfer that comes too shallow and our lead shoulder and my right shoulder kind of comes out of my spine angle. So if you get shallow just by getting my right shoulder to come back and out of my posture from this position I’m almost dead. There’s nothing really I could do from there. actually kind of a little bit over the top and having like a little pull shot or like a pull fade will be a lot better than shallowing the golf club too much. So all my subscribers that I asked about, can you please make a video of getting too shallow, too much from the inside, this video is for you guys. So what you guys want to realize is that we want to keep our spine angle and we want the golf club to come directly down how it went up. So if the golf club goes up in this fashion, we want the golf club to come feel-wise. Of course, there’s weight of the club head. So relative to how we went up, it’s always going to kind of come down in a more of a shallow angle, but feel-wise, we want to go up and come down just directly how we came down from the side view. And a really good drill to feel that is is that when once you go to the top of your back swing, what we’re going to do is grab the golf club with its bl-handed grip, your left hand just like normal, and with your right palm, place your right palm right where the shaft starts, not where the grip is, right where the shaft starts. Now, from this position, go to top of your back swing. Now, from this position, make a big full turn and just make sure that your lead shoulder is below your right shoulder. Now, from this position, the secret move is we’re gonna shift my weight, my from my right foot into my left foot for a right-handed golfer. And make sure that the golf club just slides down your palm. As you can see here, the golf club is sliding down your palm. This is how I’m going to slot the golf club without getting too shallow or coming over the top. If you come over the top, my club is going to come off of my palm. And if I get too shallow, the angle of my palm is going to change. And if you get too shallow, what you guys have to realize is is that the money move is, of course, slotting the golf club while we’re shifting our weight into the the down swing seems like the money move, but the money move is actually in our shoulder tilt. To around halfway down, what we want to do is to around halfway down, shift our weight into our least side, lower the golf club, slide it down your right palm, but to around halfway down, my left shoulder should still be below my right shoulder. So my lead shoulder should still be below my trail shoulder to around halfway down. Golfers who get over the top gets here. And golfers who get too shallow, their right shoulder works below their lead shoulder from the start. That’s a death penalty. That’s nothing. We want to we can never do anything good from that position. So, the money move is top of your back swing, shift your weight from your right foot into your left foot, right foot into your left foot, and let the golf club slide down your right palm as you can see here, and get into the hitting zone, get into the slot. From the side view, what you guys have to focus on is when you shift your weight into your lead side, make sure that your right hip stays behind your left hip while you’re doing that process. Now, from this position, you can notice that my left shoulder is still below my right shoulders. Now, grab the golf with your right hand. We’re in a really good loaded position in the slot. Now, from this position, all you have to do is release all the angles towards the golf ball or just slightly in front of the golf ball. That’s all you guys have to do. So, what we want to do is get that same feel. Top of your back swing, load the golf club into the slot. And from this position, lead shoulder is still below my right shoulder. That’s the money move. And then from this pushion, release all the angles. So, just focus on that. And I guarantee you guys, if you guys do that motion, we’ll take our ball striking and compression to the next level. So, if I do that one motion, it’s going to look something like this. I would really highly recommend you guys to do a lot of those kind of 50% shots. And then from this position, do a pump, pump, and then after the pump, gradually get the golf club to go past your body. And I think we’re in a much better position. So, make sure you slot the golf club into the slot. Shallow it out, not by manipulating the golf club. any weight, but which a proper weight shift and getting the golf club and the weight of the club to fall down with gravity and make sure that your left shoulder for a right-handed golfer, your left shoulder stays below your right shoulder to around halfway down. We never want to get into this position. So just focus on that. I think we’ll be in a much better position.
