The HotelPlanner Tour headed to Ireland for the 10th staging of the Irish Challenge, with an increased prize fund to €300,000—taking place from 7-10 August.
Event 20 of 29 on the 2025 Road to Mallorca was making its debut at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Killeen Castle, in the heart of County Meath.
Six winners from the 2025 season teed it up at Killeen Castle: Felix Mory; Rocco Repetto Taylor; Clement Charmasson; Quim Vidal; Joshua Berry; and Daniel Van Tonder — all vying for a share of the €300,000 prize fund.
Despite there having only been nine prior editions of the Irish Challenge, four of the past winners have won on the DP World Tour: Julien Guerrier; Oliver Wilson; Todd Clements and Joakim Lagergren.
Constructed in 2008, it is one of only two Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses in Ireland and measures over 7,700 yards from the back tees. The 18-time major champion has also described Killeen Castle, previous host to the 2011 Solheim Cup and the Ladies Irish Open 2010-2012, as “one of my proudest designs”.
Frenchman Oihan Guillamoundeguy, fired a two-under final round, 11 under tournament total for his maiden HotelPlanner Tour title.
