I just got back from vacation, so there’s lawn work to catch up on. I had a bunch of fun on vacation. Thanks for asking. I mean, what could be more fun than using non-exlosive demolition agent to break up a rock and make a lawn nice again? Casey’s making great progress, by the way. Now, before I left for vacation, I showed you how I completely annihilated my lawn. As you can see here, it’s recovering pretty well, but we did get a whole bunch of rain the day that I left, and that left a whole bunch of these little clipping snakes everywhere I had to clean up. Nothing too complicated really. I just get the shop back out and vacuum up all the clippings and make it good as new. By the way, there is a right way to wind up an extension cord, and it’s not how the dingus that borrowed mine last did it. You’re going to want to take the two ends and follow them all the way to the middle of the extension cord. Then make a loop. Turn that loop into a circle. Reach your arm through that circle, pull a length of extension cord through it, and make another circle. Now, you’re going to want to repeat that process until you get all the way to the end of the extension cord. Then, you grab those two ends, plug them together, and make a nice loop so you can hang the extension cord up on your wall. Or you can double it over and hang it up that way. Or grab one of the loops in the middle and hang it up so it’s even more nice and tidy.

  1. Was taught this day one in construction. Still thankful for all those guys who taught me everything I know.

  2. I typically go with the Paracord wrap for my extension cords. Works perfect every time and stays compact.

  3. Never worked with Mexicans before that’s for sure I’ve seen kids that’s never touched a drop cord before roll it up better😂

  4. Tie it up like a throw rope with a slip knot finish, then when needed, pull the slip then throw hard while holding the end.

Works best with the shorter cords and it's the easiest put away and take out from what I've seen.

Plus you look cooler when you stand at your outlet and cast the end to your project in one throw.

  5. Guys stop hating on the way he dose it yes I do I differently I think it’s a little funny the way he wraps the cord ùp but not making fun of him if the way he dose work it’s fine

  6. Couldn't be any more ate up with vanity than to so concerned about what other people think about your lawn than to video yourself vacuuming it. WOW

  7. I do it like i do Christmas lights gets me 1 circle and takes me a very short amount of time and looks neat and nice if you do it right

  8. My guys just look up parachute extension cord i promise you’ll find an operator dude with sandals showing you how to wrap a cord in 15 seconds or less

  9. Bro just wrap the freaking thing in alternating rotations. Lookup how they wrap up audio and video cables. You make a loop like you normally would and hold it but for the 2nd loop you grab the “back side” of the wire and flip it around inversely. It’s hella complicated sounding but once you’ve got it down you find yourself wrapping hoses wires whatever will fold using that method. It’s really similiar to yours expect you can unravel the entire thing in an instant with no fuss

  10. Lesson of the day, don’t listen to everyone on the internet. You do you my friend but I’m not using a vacuum on my lawn or making bracelets with my extension cords.

  11. White people really do be looking at the most boring ugliest plant deprived yards and think YEP BEAUTIFUL NATURE, this right here is why American is dead, no life no soul no anything other than boring HOA looking yards

  12. WTF! Use the term vacuum when I use my lawn mower to pick up leaves when I don't want to rake, but SERIOUSLY A SHOP VAC? CRAZY!

  13. If someone brings my extension cord wrapped like that, I'm buying a new cord and they can have that one. Just loop it and alternate the direction you loop twist each loop.

  14. Definitely not the best way to roll up an extension cord…they come the way they’re supposed to be rolled up. IN A CIRCLE!!!⭕️
