hello everybody welcome back to Jordan Golf TV where I am talking about all things golf and in today’s episode I’m going to be bringing you guys my review on these this is my latest golf sneaker pickup it’s the Adidas Gazelle Golf they don’t actually have a color code on the box like other sneakers do and so we’re just going to call these the blue and reds these dropped I think two maybe 3 weeks ago as part of the Adidas Originals spring summer collection there was a whole bunch of clothes and shoes that came out i actually picked up a few bits and pieces from the clothing collection which I do rate and I have put together in a little outfit vid on the shorts but today we’re going to be running through the sneakers but before we get into the review let me take a moment to just say thank you to each and every one of you that have subscribed to the channel recently or that have engaged with some of my short form content also a big thank you to those of you that have given me a follow over on IG and if you haven’t yet followed me on IG please go and do that now that would really mean a lot so one of the fiscally problematic things about being a sneaker head and a content creator and a golf fanatic is that yeah you go into the rabbit hole with golf shoes and you feel like you want to pick everything up and try everything out and my golf sneaker collection is bereft of any Adidas golf shoes this is actually I guess somewhat ashamedly my first Adidas golf shoe i know that they have got some big shoes in the game but I’m a huge fan of Gazels from way back in the day and I just really liked this colorway so I had to pick them up these things were £89 which I think is a pretty reasonable price to pay it’s significantly less than I’ve paid for other golf shoes so far and I’m pretty sure these are available sitting in most places at the moment there is another color way out at the moment I think as well in the green but yeah something about this particular colorway just made me want to scoop them up so let’s talk about the materials first and foremost the upper features a suede material that does come with a waterproof guarantee i mean at least according to the box this has a 1year waterproof warranty so if these end up going to absolute crap or falling apart because of a lack of water resistance I guess you can have these replaced or get your money back you also have a little bit of leather on the three stripes that run across the top you’ve also got a little bit of leather around the back tab and then you’ve also got a bit of leather on the liner the tongue material is a little bit weird it kind of feels like it’s been leather stamped or vinyl leather stamped and then it has a sort of felt type feeling material on the inside of the tongue and they come with the red flat laces installed and they have the gum midsole as well as the soft spike traction pattern on the outsole in terms of the comfort there’s a couple of things to note here first and foremost these fit true to size if you are a wide footer you might find that gazels tend to run a bit narrow so you might want to half size up but for the narrow footers out there or just normal footers you can go true to size with these and you will be absolutely fine they are relatively light and because they’re quite a basic flat sold shoe there’s no real supports or forgiveness in them that’s just a very basic shoe now I only really had two complaints with these with regard to the fit and the comfort the first complaint is that they’re a little bit squeaky off the bat which is not uncommon with other shoes and the other problem that I found is that this tongue because it’s quite stiff and because it angles back it will rub against the top of the ankle and it did in fact give me a little bit of abrasion to the point where it actually drew some blood because I wasn’t wearing high enough ankle socks so if you aren’t used to wearing gazels and you want to make sure that you don’t feel that pain from the tongue cutting into the top of the ankle just make sure you’re wearing higher ankle socks or you’ve got high socks in terms of the performance okay so it’s the soft spiked shoe so these aren’t going to give you quite as much grip on the course when it comes to maybe going for your big drives or hitting off massive uphill slopes this is very much in my opinion a summer shoe or a dry condition shoe i don’t feel like this is the type of shoe you’re going to want to break out if it is raining or in the winter months now the other big thing with golf shoes is how are they going to wear and are they going to clean up well are they going to be an easy shoe to maintain in terms of the wear you can see after one round I do have a little bit of creasing across the toe box they haven’t gone like deformed or anything like that and so in terms of general maintenance I don’t think this is going to be a particularly tricky shoe to maintain provided like I said before you’re just wearing them in the summer or in the dry months so all in all I think they’re you know decent value for money at £89 i do think it is a really exciting colorway if you’re the type of person that likes to step onto the course with a slightly flashier looking shoe these are definitely going to do the business these are so cool that they could actually be taken to be worn off the course as well as on the course nobody’s going to be checking for your tread pattern on the outsole nobody’s going to be secondg guessing you if you were to wear these with an outfit in the street so yeah very cool looking shoe very stylish very current with the current gazelle and samba trend still popping off it’s like the trend that won’t go away and if you did want to sort of mute them down a little bit or tone them down you can just take the red laces out and chuck in some white laces or a different set of laces but I think with the red laces it makes them pop a lot so generally I would give these a good solid 7 and 1/2 out of 10 taking the value for money into account it’s not the most comfortable shoe but definitely does the job and I think if you’re like me and you like to have a few different types of shoes in the rotation you might be out there one day thinking you know what this is going to go with my fits this is the type of shoe I want to wear today boom let’s go for it so yeah good solid 7 and 1/2 out of 10 for the Adidas Originals Gazelle golf shoes what are you guys thinking about these are you feeling these do you think they’re cool or not feel free to let me know down below in the comments and once again thank you so much for your support on the channel really means a lot especially in these early stages as I look to get it going if you are interested in sneakers and you want to check out my main channel feel free to go ahead as well and I’ll see you guys on the next video take care for now and peace

  1. Your channel is seriously clutch. Love the niche. Streetwear meets golf is such a fresh combo. Can’t wait to see the brands come calling as you grow. Keep up the awesome content!

  2. Great looking golf trainers and as far as I'm concerned you can't go wrong with a gazelle

  3. Adidas golf shoes are show shoes. Look good, but no support . Footjoy makes golf shoes, not nike or Adidas. I've played golf for 40 years and away played Footjoys

  4. How’s the grip on these? I’ve got a pretty fast swing speed and want to pick these up but don’t want to be sliding around

  5. I started following this new channel a few weeks ago. Been wanting to get into golf but never have played. I’ve putted before at mini golf places. What I’m worried about is embarrassing myself when it comes to driving the ball. I have NEVER done that 😂 and I don’t think I can drive it far. If that’s the correct terminology 😂
