Which of these divots is better, please? Or how can I improve on position/length?
I currently don't have a handicap and have been trying to work on my swing without a ball due to injuries. Hitting behind the ball caused me to tear my seratus anterior muscle twice (that's what I get for self teaching!)

The first one is ideal per the directions I think. I lost my direction and directions a long time ago.
The first one looks perfect.
How Well do these mats work? Can you actually hit balls of them or just practice swings?
Wondered about these for a while, does it not throw your swing off slightly with it all being above your feet?
